Hello, everyone. -

Not too sure how, exactly, things on this site operate yet (this is truly an enormous site), but I'll try my hand at an introduction nonetheless:
As you may have noticed, I go by the name "weasel". If anyone should care to know the story behind it, I'd be delighted to tell.
Um...I'm not sure how to go about this, but I have a few questions regarding Christianity. No, I'm not here to flame or troll (I don't understand why someone would waste their time in that practice, anyway), so no need to worry. Guess I'll start:
- I was raised as a Baptist, though sometimes I'm not sure if my childhood church was sincere in their beliefs. I saw so much hypocrisy and heresy that I nearly rejected religion all together. As a result, I'm somewhat shaky in my faith. Could someone tell my what should be done about that?
- I've seen some rather...controversial statements here that don't agree with mainstream philosophy, such as physically repremanding one's wife for a fault she committed. It's a hard concept to agree with, coming from the outside as I am, but I am willing to learn the reasoning behind the belief if anyone should give it.
Hm. Now that I'm here, I can't think of what to say. So many questions, etc., etc. Anyway, thanks in advance for replies.

Do you eat, sleep and live the King James Bible son?
Do you believe in guns and absolute freedom?
Do you understand accept that as a male human, potentially a Christian, you are at the top of the food chain and accordingly, have many responsibilities?
Have you ever been a choir boy at a Catlick chirch?
Do you like gladiator movies?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with the King James Bible. ;-;
I'm a hunter and hate communism.
I'm not a vegetarian.
I don't do chior or Catholicism.
Depends on what kind of gladiator movie. Too much dialogue in ancient Rome just doesn't fit, you know?

Unfamiliar with the KJV1611 eh? I suggest you return once you have commited it to memory. It is what our entire faith is guided by.
Who do you hunt?
You don't do 'chior or Catholicism' , so who do you do? Who does the sorting for you?
You watch gladiator movies with the sound on? You can hear it over the grunting?
You seem mighty confused. Have you considered making the first step towards accepting the True Christian God as your only God?

Is there any particular reason why you're asking me meaningless questions?
I came here to learn. I thought this might be a step in the right direction toward salvation. Please tell me that I am correct in my assumption, else I will have essentially given up on what I thought was the last remaining sanctuary of Godliness.

Let me get the straight. If you are asked questions that do not have obvious purporse, they are meaningless? Do you not think God, in his infinite wisdom, had his followers do things that appeared (at the time) meaningless? Are you saying if the Bible or our Lord intrstructs us to do something, we should question it because 'I think it is meaningless'? Do you feel you have the right to question Him? Just where do you get off with that attitude, pal? Herre I am, trying my best to help you. I have been throughly trained by the good Pastors of Landover to assist those that want to come into the fold and all you do is make me miserable. Nice guy. Do you kick puppies too?

Young weasel.
On retrospect, perhaps I came at you too hard, too much fire and brimstone when what you really needed was a gentle guiding hand. Being a servant of the
Lord, as rewarding as it is, is very draining at times fighting those possessed by the devil.

Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Unless you believe that you understand exactly how God operates in His infinite wisdom, I would caution you from assuming that you are able to question in a like manner. I don't doubt God; I doubt you.
But, you are right in that you came about this too harshly. I will ignore your implication that I am possessed by Satan ih hopes that you will be able to give me guidance.

The best advice is to read the KJV Bible, listen and ask for clarity. Choose your words carefully you want to be absolutely understood. Consider others viewpoints. Know they are wrong when they are in conflict with the Bible. Once you give yourself to Jesus, you no longer have any burdens, You are in the hands of God.
Genesis 49:24 (King James Version)
But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob;

Well my clearly not gay friend what wisdom of God do you like? What is your favorite Bible verse?

Well young Weasel, I am a white southern Christian man who do knoweth the path to salvation and everlasting life very well indeed. If your intentions are true and your foundation is strong, then you have definitely come to the right place, for the word of God is the key to righteousness and ever lasting joy and happiness.
However, once you detour from God’s path, the eternal fires of hell await. The lines might be long in hell boy, but I guarantee that you’ll get processed awful quick by them old demons. Hell ain’t the County Clerk’s office you know; and it ain’t the Post Office neither. No sir, that old devil is pretty efficient at getting them eternally damned souls rushed in through the line and past that entrance door.
Now, to start with, you better think of changing that ridiculous name of yours. Hell boy, Weasel sure enough ain’t no kind of a name for a good white Christian man to be taken seriously. How the heck are you gonna be taken seriously by God with a fruity name like Weasel; and by the way, no, I don’t care to hear the story of how you got that nickname. As far as I’m concerned calling someone Weasel is an abomination. The Bible states that children shall honor there father and mother. Now if you actually do honor your mammy and pappy like a good Christian boy should, then you’ll stop going by that laughable nickname that Satan gave you and use the good Christian name that your loving parents provided on your birth certificate the day you were borned.
Furthermore, I’m not aware of the scallywag that made those controversial statements here that don't agree with mainstream philosophy, such as physically reprimanding one's wife for a fault she committed, but if I find out who done the deed, I’ll personally pray to God Almighty that his tongue be miraculously cut out from his mouth. Every good Christian man knows that a woman is never reprimanded physically or otherwise for a fault. A woman should only be corrected by her man when she get’s uppity or her behavior contradicts God’s law. If a woman don’t know her place, then it’s a man’s Christian duty to insure that she understands where her place is at…if you know what I mean. Now how a Christian man determines how he deals with his wife is his own business, but personally, I would prefer the strap my self if in when I decided to make an honest woman out of my sweetheart.
Now, go get a real Bible and start a read’n. And remember, boy, don’t take to heart any of that nonsense that they teach you in school about evolution, biology, history and the like. Schools are left-wing liberal breeding grounds for Satan worshippers and heavy metal listening druggy freaks.
The Honorable Brother Jessup T. Lloyd has spoken to the younger generation………can I hear an Amen!
The Lord’s Hang’n Judge – convicting the wicked and condemning the heretic!
Quote:
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. (Revelation 19:11)

This is a Christian forum. We are not here to entertain or educate you. If you are interested in learning about Jesus and God's Holy Word, then by all means use the search function to look up the specific topics that interest you. You might start by reading THIS primer for new posters. Try not to ask the same tired old questions that have been repeatedly answered already on this Godly forum.
Please understand that we are not the least bit interested in your unsaved opinions. God commands us to avoid God-mockers and non-Christians, which is why we proudly feature a huge banner on our church that proclaims "UNSAVED=UNWELCOME."
Speak with respect and you'll be allowed to stay. Flame us or attempt to spread the teachings of satan, and you'll be asked to leave.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
