The Adversary is under investigation -- suspected to be Unsaved Trash.

I'm glad to see that such a succinct list of biblical myths has been stickied. Well-compiled and explained, SalvationSeeker! Now any false Christians who read this will have no choice but to decide whether to TURN OR BURN!!! I hope this makes some of those ignoramuses think for once.

One of these passages reveals the weakness of using the good ol' KJV though. The following is just redundant and bad writing, when the second usage of the LORD was clearly a use of the true name of God:
Quote:
And how could anyone forget Exodus 15:3?
The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
Exodus 15:3

A better translation would be: The LORD is a warrior: YHWH is his name. In the Song of Moses, they are celebrating a victory over the Egyptians and the true name of the God is revealed to the Hebes twice. The KJV reveals nothing, and thus the true nature of God is hidden from modern Bible readers. As Thomas McElwain puts it:
Quote:
The last half of the verse reveals God’s name. To know a person’s name or reputation (in Hebrew the word covers both meanings) gives access to what that person can do in one’s favor. Humanity needs deliverance from time to time, and knowing the name of God is knowing where to turn, and having the possibility of turning to Him.

So, therefore those who do not know the Tetragrammaton do not know where to turn as they cannot cry for aid properly. It's like not having 911 on speed dial!

Also, notice I wrote "The LORD is a warrior". Everyone knows that a Man O'War is not a human. But not everyone understands that a "man of war" is not a human. To avoid confusion then, the word man should not be used. There are enough stoopid people in the world, we don't need to create more!

Isaiah 45:6-7:
"...I am the LORD and there is none else. I form the light and create darkness. I make peace an create evil. I the LORD do all these things." (KJV)

So are you suggesting a myth, "The LORD is a jellyfish"?

I'm not sure what the point of such a discussion would be. We're all pretty well aware that God is not a Portuguese Man o' War, but rather a Man (that is, male authority figure, not a mehum) who wages War.

The KJV1611 is perfect in all and every way.

God decides what's right and what's not, not you.
BTW, the KJV1611 isn't a translation, it's dictated directly by God.

Not even a jew (i.e those who beleive in the tetragrammaton as such) would ever pronunce or read YHVH (not YHWH), they only write it.
They use the hebrew word "Adonai" instead, which means Lord.
Thus "The Lord is a man of war: The Lord is His name" would be correct even for them.

Man mostly refers to His gender, but God was indeed a man however: when He walked the earth as the man Jesus Christ.
Who is/was God to 100% and man to 100% percent. God can defy logic like that, as He is not bound to being only one thing. GLORY!

Btw we are True Christians, and we don't worship letters as some of the kikes do, which is idol worship. Instead we worship God Allmighty..
So you fail again, and so does this Thomas character.. Get this Kabbalah crap out of God's favourite forum.

If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
A foolish woman is clamorous: She is simple, and knoweth nothing.
Proverbs 9:12-13
