Re: A Bible "expert" has come to teach us.

Its interesting how you've labelled me "unsaved trash." Aren't you guys supposed to be working with the Messianic Jew to help save unbelievers?

      John 11:45-57

45Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. 46But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.
47Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
48If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
49And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
50Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
      51And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
52And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
53Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.
And there it is the Joos took counsel and decided to out Jesus to death

54Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
55And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
56Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast?
57Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him.

Here they command that he be taken. Sure looks like the Joos had it in for Jesus

We Christians capitalize references to Jesus Christ. This is because we regard Him as our Savior.

He died several days for our sins, you know. And yours too.

          Show some respect.

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I have never stated that the Jews who were not looking for a heavenly Messiah did not want to kill Yeshua. It was prophecied in Isaiah 53 that his people would turn against him. This is a complete red herring to the conversation at hand.

            What was Yeshua? A Jew.

            What was Matthew? A Jew.

            What was Mark? A Jew.

What were the other Disciples? Jews!

Did Matthew Mark and the other Disciples try to kill Yeshua? No. And neither did the Jews who recognized him as the Messiah.

            What does Romans 1:16 state?

Yeshua is the name he would have been called by in the first century. It is Hebrewic for Jesus. We recognize that He is Risen, and sits at the right hand of God. I haven't seen Yeshua's earthly body on the face of the Earth have you? Are you a Jehovah's Witness? Did Jesus come back in 1918? It is recognized that by stating that he was a Jew (in this context, he no longer walks the face of the Earth in physical form), that this is an absolute truth. He will never cease to be a Jew and his Jewish status would not have changed. He is eternal because of his resurrection.

To believe that Yeshua was white is completely absurd. He was of Aryan descent.

You guys call yourselves Christian and deny those who follow Jesus? Major bad and highly contradictory.

Herod? Wow....amazing. You're just being silly now because you're out of arguments right? Herod was the one who was king when Jesus was born and tried to kill the 1 year old babies. Actually thats how we have determined around what year Jesus was born thanks to another Messianic Jew, Josephus. He was born in roughly 6 to 8 B.C.

The bloodthirsty Jews? You recall this was in Rome right?

Maybe its because they were looking for the other title for the Messiah instead of the one they should have been looking for. The one the Jews were supposed to be looking for was Yeshua Ben Yosef, or Jesus born of Joseph's lineage. He was the suffering servant that was prophecied about in Isaiah 53. However, the Jews were looking for a warrior to overthrow Rome, and this why they turned their eyes to Yeshua Ben David. Both Yeshuas are the same, even though there are some who try to differentiate the two today (problem with doing that is then one of the Messiahs isn't a Messiah, since one of them dies according to the Talmud). Yeshua ben David is Yeshua when he comes back the second time to Jerusalem. There were Jews who weren't following the timeline correctly and they missed something that was smack in front of their faces.

Their temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. Yeshua is the substitute sacrifice. Animal sacrifices were rejected by God after his resurrection. Thus since there is no temple, there are no sacrifices that the modern day Jew may make in order to be saved from their sin. Yet blood is the only means we may be saved by due to Leviticus 17.

4Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.
5And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.
6When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.
7And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.

Pastor Ezekiel, what are you really afraid of? That I might be right? Does it comfort you to persuade yourself to believe that I'm really just cutting and pasting stuff? Actually, I've barely had to turn to a Bible in discussing with anyone here. I just happen to know the scriptures and tons of background information about them. That wouldn't be a bad thing now would it?

Isn't this a Christian forum? Didn't Jesus debate the Pharisees? So its okay to debate since Jesus debated right? After all we're here to glorify Jesus, and Jesus has shown us this is one way to follow his example. Its even stated thats its okay to do so here - 1 Peter 3:15-16 "15But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander." 1 Thessalonians 5:21 - Test (Critically analyze) everything, hold onto that which is good.

Besides, why suppress ideas and thoughts? Let them be heard, and see which way the people go.
