The March for Science: A Biblical View -
04-23-2017, 09:35 PM
April 22, 2017, aka "Earth Day" was for many sad souls, a bad day. In over 600 locations across the globe, people came together to march together to speak with one voice in hopes of impressing upon the President Trump Administration, and administrations all over the world I suppose, not that they really matter ultimately, anyway, they came to impress upon world leaders to rely on objective data as a foundation for public policy. I say these souls are sad because they are being misled, and many will learn the Truth only when it is too late.
But what does the Bible say about trusting Science? Well, first we should know what science is. The study of science is understood to be the study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. Science is a methodology, a kind of loosely adhered to agreement between scientists to make observations, record data, experiment, analyze findings, present them to peers for review, etc etc. But what scientists refuse to acknowledge in this method is the greatest threat to knowledge of all - the human component.
Who is making observations? That's right, a fallible man. Who is compiling all this data? That's right, a fallible man. Who is doing the analysis? That's right, a fallible man. Who is reviewing these results? You're right again, fallible men. When the tool for measurement is off, how can one rightfully expect accurate measurements?
The Bible tells us that we cannot trust our own judgement because, you guessed it, we're fallible! The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Jeremiah 17:9
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him:
neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 2:14
Don't take my word for it. Consider for yourself what man's fallible science has offered the world:
Biology- Spontaneous generation - is a principle regarding the origin of life from inanimate matter, which held that this process was a commonplace and everyday occurrence, as distinguished from univocal generation, or reproduction from parent(s).
- Transmutation of species, Lamarckism, inheritance of acquired characteristics - first theories of evolution.
- Maternal impression – the theory that the mother's thoughts created birth defects.
- Miasma theory of disease – the theory that diseases are caused by "bad air. “
- Recapitulation theory – the theory that "ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny".
- Telegony – the theory that an offspring can inherit characteristics from a previous mate of its mother's as well as its actual parents
- Out of Asia theory of human origin
Astronomy and cosmology- Luminiferous aether theory
Geography and climateMedicine- Theory of the four bodily humors
- Physiognomy
- Phrenology
And entire branches of inquiry now known to be completely obsolete- Alchemy
- Astrology
- Phrenology
The astute scholar will note these theories and fields have been rejected. The True Christian™ Scientist will note the scientific discoveries that have been maintained through time were first presented to the public through the Infallible Word of God: Both man and woman possess the seed of life (Genesis 3:15); discovered by man in 17th century
Earth is held in place by invisible forces (Job 26:7); discovered by man in 1650
Blood is necessary for life (Leviticus 17:11); discovered by man in 19th century
Oceans have natural paths in them (Psalms 8:8); discovered by man in 1854
Light is a particle and has mass (a photon) (Job 38:19); discovered by man in 1932
Stars give off signals (Job 38:7); discovered by man in 1945
Oceans contain fresh water springs (Job 38:16); discovered by man in 1920
Dust is important to survival (Isaiah 40:12); discovered by man in 1935
Hubert Spencer's scientific principles (Genesis 1); discovered by man in 1820
Air has weight (Job 28:25); discovered by man in the 17th century
Light can be split up into component colors (Job 38:24); discovered by man in 1650
Matter is made up of invisible particles (Romans 1:20); discovered by man in 20th century
Water cycle (Ecclesiastes 1:7); discovered by man in 17th century
Lightning and thunder are related (Job 38:25); discovered by man in 19th century Still, the unregenerated man is a rebellious creature, and perhaps no greater show of rebellion and desire for self-destruction can be seen than the great March for Science that happened around the world. At the risk of upsetting our more sensitive readers, I'll show some pictures of the sad and misguided signs held high. I do this so we can see the faces of those who need prayers, and those who need to be avoided.
****WARNING FOR SENSITIVE VIEWERS****
****UNABASHED, UNBIBLICAL SCIENTIFIC IMAGERY FOLLOWS****
This poor soul has never learned "peer review" gave the scientific community the "four bodily humors."
Hundreds of angry liberals came together to try and bully the president.
Someone doesn't remember Biblical Policies save lives (James 5:15),
now and for eternity (John 10:27-28)!
Are you threatening me?
When will scientists understand what's really at stake here?
Trusting Man's Beliefs VS Trusting God's Truth

Great post, Sister Mary. I could trust humans to find good and honest answers were is not for one event, the Original Sin.
Because Eve was able to tempt Adam with sin we cannot leave decisions about the world and how it works to humans. Answers need to be found in God's word, the Bible.
Imagine a great scientist on the verge of a new life-saving discovery. Then, a beautiful woman temps him with sin. The man will sin and we will never have this discovery to save lives.
Knowledge provided by God is much better.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

to you, Sister Mary!! Thank you for bringing us this critical information, and for your brilliant refutation of the absurd claims of science.
And to Jesus for being beyond the paltry scope of science.
On one site, I saw that some stupid scientists hung signs on their dogs that read, "cat". Then there was a number sign and the words "alternative facts". How dumb can they be?
What a joyous day it shall be when Jesus returns and smites the so-called learned people of this world. Until then, we must stave off the insidious effects of science and "progress" unless we be doomed.
Why can't people see that the answers to all the world's problems can be found by looking to the past, and the wisdom of the Bible? What possesses people to look to the future, or even bother to study the world around them?
Many thanks again, dear Sister in Christ. If you had been born a man, can you imagine what Jesus could have done with your brains?
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

True to your nature, you are too kind, dear sister! I have merely compiled information over the years in my vocation as a home educator. Raising young boys to be Men of God in a hostile world is a challenge, and I believe the LORD has equipped me just enough to search various Biblical websites for the information my children will need to lead the next generation to make America Great Again.

Thank you for your informative post, Sister Mary. Among us True Christian™ Ladies you are certainly the smartest!
One more thing, though. Science is wrong all the time not only because it's conducted by fallible men, who unknowingly commit mistakes. It's so much worse than that - most scientists are actually conscientiously committing fraud! From Heinrich Schliemann to the Piltdown Man, the examples are countless!

Incredible report, Sister Mary! This shows the world that even a mere woman can produce coherent and irrefutable research papers with the help of the Holy Spirit - only feasible when the author is (like us) a True Christian™. I would like to add some aspects about the prophetic nature of this revolting revolution. It is a sign of the End of Days. Only Satan could have influenced these non-Creation-Science scientists to gather and swarm like locusts, destroying everything that is pure and precious in their wake (2 Chronicles 7:13).
Obviously, this is sad and repulsive, but also useful. We're now seeing who will be among the Troops of Satan in the near Future when Jesus returns and defeats the army of the Enemy.
Habakkuk 1:9
They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
We can now see that the Waffen-Schutzstaffel of Satan will consist of evolutionary paleontologists, meteorologists, sodomites, female sodomites, exegetics, particle physicists, and abortion providers. This also explains why it's going to be so easy for Jesus to defeat them all single-handedly!
Revelation 19:21
And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Yours in Christ,
Elmer
2 Kings 18:25 - Am I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

Man is an individual only because of his intangible memory. But memory cannot be defined, yet it defines mankind.

I'm sorry, but you must be looking for the Landover Department of Metaphysics and Gobbledygook.
And, yeah, it doesn't exist.
So how's about some Scripture?
Exodus 34:14 "For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:"

Hello Mr Phoenix,
How kind of you to quote a movie that is over 20 years old.
Get up to date, use a Bible:
Galatians 6:4
“But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.”
That's just one of the things about individuals. There are many more. Pick It up. Read It. Live It. It might just change you for the better.

Isaiah 66:15
For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

When God created The Bible, He knew what we'd be questioning in the future and the sorts of challenges we'd have thrown at us. That's why He's provided the information, so it's available when that future arrives: now. . Galatians 6:4 is a good example of that. The benefits assured are in the future.

It's so encouraging when we understand that God has already provided all the information we need. When I read what was written all those millennia ago by authors who trusted God just so we'd know how to answer the evolutionist or phrenologist when they choof out their garbage is a miracle in its own right. He cares for us as individuals and died to set us free.

Memory is the recollection of past events. Smells are supposed to evoke some of our earliest memories, from before we'd learned to talk. That's why when we smell a fragrance from our infancy, which we do usually remember straight away, we very rarely have a word for it. Sound is similar but evokes memories from before we were born, during which time the loudest sound by a large margin is mother's voice. It is so important to sing Christian songs in that case. Heathens probably sit there reciting Franz Kafka and why would I mention that? Because of what happens next.
After being born and learning how to talk or sing and read and so forth the child naturally gravitates towards environments offering positive associations. If you'd sung those Christian songs then they would evoke memories from before birth when heard again. It would be familiar. "Hard-wired," if you like. But if you'd opted for Kafka instead then circles of that type would somehow strangely appeal and that is where the child would go to sit. Not the best company by God's standard.
Memory. When God knew we'd be presented with dumb arguments about fish turning into pumas or stars forming over thousands of millions of years and then exploding, all in our past, He knew what we'd need to know. He really was looking into the future and when we step into our future that's why we need to read The Bible. Yes, it was written in the past but written for us today so that we'd know about tomorrow. That really defines memory quite well. But although rational people know what memory is that alone is not enough.
