Hello ladies (and gentlemen)!

My mother recently bought me a Fannie Farmer cookbook so I can expand my cooking talents. I've found several good recipes that I'd like to try either for my father and/or my next suitor. I'd like to continue to expand my list of foods that I can make for my future husband (whoever he is), so I was wondering if any of you Godly ladies could recommend any cookbooks that would be appropriate for a Christian woman to own.

Two books--one titled Cooking With The Bible and that other is called Cooking With Christ.

You did not get enough suggestions from your first thread (6 pages)?

Look, forget all the slop and waste. A man wants meat every night. A roast, rib-eye, New York, whatever. Serve this with either baked or mashed potatoes, and green beans or peas. Sometimes, corn on the cob. Always with rolls or hot sourdough. Finely grated Parmesan cheese is okay on special occasions.


I would refuse a meal of anything else.

Very true about the meat, Brother Porter! I'm looking for more recipes (especially ones involving meat) so my future husband won't be bored with the meat recipes that I currently know. If my future husband ends up being like my father when it comes to food, he might end up getting bored with basic meals and sides.

Dear, I think that what Brother Harold Potter was suggesting in a very polite way, is that it is unnecessary to create a new thread on the topic that already has another perfectly acceptable thread.
