I do not "hug" my grandchildren. The boys I shake hands with, but I generally don't greet my granddaughters until they get married and can be properly introduced to me by their husbands.

We don't believe in spoiling children by giving them hugs and suchlike.

Portuguese are within the nicest people in the world and that's all I've come here to talk about.
