Happy to be here. -
05-26-2009, 04:33 AM
Hello there!
My name is Doug, aka Sinking. My username doesn't really mean anything, btw, it's just the first thing that came to mind.
I'm 18 years old, just finishing high school and I'm ready to go out into the world and make an honest living for myself.
The church I attend is called the Crossings. It's not a very big church, and we don't really have any set place for our services, so we just do it wherever we can. Pastor Brett is a really nice man, and sometimes he does service within his own home if he can't get anywhere else to do it, and his wife makes breakfast for everyone.
I'm real excited to find a decent place within the den of depravity known as the internet, and I'll probably be telling the rest of my church about this place so they can join up too. I look forward to talking to all of you.
-God Bless.

Well praise Jesus and welcome to God's favorite church young man. It's always nice to see a well-groomed young man who respects his pastor and knows his place.
What are some of your favorite scriptures?
What are your plans, now that you've finished school? Normally I'd urge you to join the U.S. Military, but ever since Obama took office, he's letting all those queers in....I'd hate to see you get sodomized because of something I said.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Personally, I've always enjoyed art and I'd like to pursue it as a career.
I considered attending a local art college, but I learned about how they practice "nude" drawing. I'm unsure whether this is drawing a nude person or drawing while nude, but I have to say that I don't enjoy the idea of either.
If you're interested, you can view a piece of my artwork here: Link
Incidentally, that's my favorite piece that I've done.

True "art" is God inspired. It is good that you understand nude "art" be it your nudity of the subject's nudity is Satanic. If you pursue art, be sure that your work is God inspired. Anything else will send you to Hell.
Your sample work submitted here does show promise. Keep up the good work!
Yours in Christ
Brother Lazarus
In the Beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. Genesis 1.1. This scripture is the first verse of the Bible for a reason. It lays the foundation for the absolute truth found in God's Holy WORD, the Bible.

I dont think it is necessary for you to talk to others about your convictions. Either they have been told about our savior or not. Clearly you are on the right track by attending a Christian College. But your girl being a Jehovah Witness posses a real problem. I might be the first to say that your relationship will not last. Their is no room for updating the "holy speech"... aka... the Bible. Either take it for fact and do not ask questions, or join the side of the pretend Christians. God will be your decider. It is better that we all listen to him LITERALLY in his novel than to ask such silly obsolete questions.
Think before you speak silly!

Jesus LOVES Sarah! My thoughts are pleasured daily, with the anticipation of her in high office.

Nah! Got to disagree with you there brother. I think he should try to convert her and save her soul first. If that don't work, then he should cut out of the relationship and find a real Christian woman. Who know's? She maybe quite the honey and worth saving.
The Honorable Brother Jessup T. Lloyd, Esq. has spoken……..Amen!
