George Michael: Faith - A wonderful True Christian™ song -
05-21-2011, 10:38 AM
Now, I admit I'm not one to follow the latest in the "rock and roll" music, since I want nothing to do with that Satanic filth. But, from a fellow pastor, I've discovered a wonderful song that preaches the Gospel through the vile rock and roll medium.
Apparently, some years ago, some guy named George Michael recorded a song called "Faith". When you watch the video, you'll see the Christ-centered imagery quite clearly. When the video starts, some guy sings "I don't need no Bible...", which is then immediately turned off the jukebox, to be replaced by Mr. Michael singing "Faith". It's a slap in the face to all those non-believers! And the song keeps saying over and over...
"Cause I gotta have faith."
Throughout the whole song, Mr. Michael reiterates the importance of having faith. Isn't this what Paul taught us as well?
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (KJV)
Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV)
Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (KJV)
What a wonderful message, is it not?
As well, Mr. Michael is looking very manly and strong in the video. Clad in a leather jacket with Levi 501s, he's clearly a conservative, masculine Christian and not some limp-wristed sodomite atheist. Although, I will admit, there seems to be some excessive camera shots of Mr. Michael's derriere, but I don't think that is intentional, perhaps just lazy camera work on part of the production, or maybe I'm just getting too paranoid in my homophobia again, I'm not sure.

Amen Rev. Jim!
I too had never heard of this young man, but he appears to be a fine American with a whole bunch of love for Jesus Christ.

I believe he used to also be in a Christian rock group called Wham. They had a single called 'edge of Heaven'.
I don't know what happened to his singing patner Andrew Wrigley though.

Hate to be the one to break it to ya, Rev. Mr. Michael is as flaming as you can get and he came out years ago that he is in fact a Homo. Although, I don't agree with his choices his music on the other hand is quite cool, but I still stopped listening to rock music a few years back

It seems like a pretty good song to me. He appears to be singing in heaven, too. That's what I think the white background is supposed to represent.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

This fine young man is 100% not a sodomite. The homosexual agenda is spreading lies over good people who did nothing wrong.

And he's been arrested more than once on indecent charges in public I think. Yeah, he's as gay as...I don't know..something really gay.
Not that I have a problem with that. Good song though. My mom has some of his old records from the 90's decade. Not really my thing. Not awful though.
I like the sentiments of this song though. It's good to have faith.

He also sings a song about Freedom, so he is clearly a conservative American patriot. I found this on the youtube. It is also quite catchy and I believe in this song he is also singing about the evils of the MTV, and I could not agree with him more strongly on that point.
The MTV promotes the homosexual agenda, race mixing, promiscuity, and unwed motherhood. I could certainly do without those scantily clad women in the film that accompanies the song, but I assume the secular world expects it, and it is a way to get the unsaved to listen to a Christian message. Kudos to Mr. Michael for taking a strong, conservative American Christian stand! Glory!

I also think that he likes to live quite a humble lifestyle. Many of his fellow American pop stars are always taking vacations in grand palaces in places like the Bahamas. I think George likes small dwellings in the countryside. I am sure that I heard he liked 'cottaging'.

Thank you so much, Professor for that. This song is amazing. It's a song about FREEDOM, LIBERTY, and the AMERICAN WAY. I tell you, I'm beginning to love this George Michael. Tonight I was going on YouTube and listening to all his songs, cranking it up to 11 on my surround sound system. I swear you could hear it throughout my whole house...and I have a big house.
I honestly think I have found a new favorite singer. He truly is filled with the Lord's spirit. Here's two new songs that I enjoy...
This is one of his newer songs, and I admit it sounds pretty weird (what with all the nifty computer gizmos going on in the recording studio) but you can't argue with the title of the song....TRUE FAITH. Yes, he writes a song called "Faith" and now writes "True Faith". This is a man who exemplifies the importance of having faith!
Then, listen to Mr. Michael sing about the importance of traditional family values. He sings about how important the role of a father is. This is a man who believes in the Bible and knows that a REAL family is one man, one woman, some kids, and Jesus.
It's a shame that this George Michael never got that famous because the world needs to hear his messages. He speaks from the heart as a Christian. His music stirs the soul and causes one to rejoice.
THANK YOU GEORGE MICHAEL!

well, it certainly is a catchy tune. didnt a group of young sodomites sing this song a few years back? Linkin Biscuit, or some such? I remember there was a lot of demonic screaming in that version, so i didn;t care for it one bit.
Genesis 1:24
And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind: and it was so."

What a wonderful find Rev Osbourne
Sadly, in my googling I came across a band of heathens (with apparent erectile dysfunction) called The Limp Bizkits who desecrated Mr. Michaels song Faith.
I was going to post a link and decided against it. I will not soil the wonderful Christian music (or this thread) of Mr. George Michael. But why oh why do atheists need to mock Christianity at every turn?

I read that after The Gainesville Ripper hacked up his victims, this song was playing as they were found.

There seems to be some hiccups in the way you seem to have researched George Micheal's personal life and character. If you wouldn't mind, I would like to correct some of these flaws.
Firstly:
Zechariah Smyth: "He appears to be a fine American"
George Micheal was born in England and is half English and half Greek. He is not American or affiliated with America in anyway
Secondly:
Jack O'fagan: "George likes small dwellings in the countryside. I am sure that I heard he liked 'cottaging'. "
Sorry but you are poorly mistaken by what the definition of cottaging is, Here is the full definition from a dictionary,
Definition for cottaging:
Cottaging is a British gay slang term referring to anonymous sex between men in a public lavatory
Also, Mr. Micheal currently resides in London
Thirdly:
Titus Templeton: "This fine young man is 100% not a sodomite"
Sorry to disappoint but Micheal publicly announced his homosexuality in 2007 and is now happily in a same-sex marriage with businessman Kenny Goss. He is also a large participant of annual gay pride parades
Lastly, I would like to point out that Faith is a song which is not about religion but the love that two people share with each other.
I do not mean to offend anyone in the forum who is a fan of George Micheal or George Micheal himself.
Thank you for your time

I will NOT tolerate slandering an innocent man's name. Unless you can prove that Mr. Michael is a homosexual by showing photographs or video evidence (which you can't of course), then I will have to consider you a troll. Do you realize how many straight people get the "gay rumor" attached to them out of jealousy and spite? Why, I know several pastors who are rumored to be gay, only because they're so successful and people want to bring them down.
Look, George Michael is a great, down-to-earth Baptist soul singer, and I'm not surprised if people want to ruin his good name. So please, unless you have hard evidence, refrain from speaking bad upon people.

Yes...it's about the LOVE THAT CHRIST SHARES WITH HIS PEOPLE. Duh. Can't make it any more obvious? Also, why do you think he wears a cross earring? George Michael is praising the love of faith and the love of Christ for his followers. Sorry if that offends your depraved sodomite mind.
