Papists would rather worship trees than Jesus -
09-17-2007, 12:50 PM
Every time I think the Roman institution can't get any lower, it does. They've long since given up any pretense of being Christian, but now they've thrown in their lot with the tree-hugging environazis.
From The New York Unsaved Liberal Sodomite Times (please fast and pray before clicking this link):
Vatican Penance: Forgive Us Our Carbon Output
Quote:
TISZAKESZI, Hungary — This summer the cardinals at the Vatican accepted an unusual donation from a Hungarian start-up called Klimafa: The company said it would plant trees to restore an ancient forest on a denuded stretch of land by the Tisza River to offset the Vatican’s carbon emissions.
* * *
“As the Holy Father [sic], Pope Benedict XVI, recently stated, the international community needs to respect and encourage a ‘green culture,’ ” said Cardinal Paul Poupard, leader of the Pontifical Council for Culture, who took part in a ceremony marking the event at the Vatican. “The Book of Genesis tells us of a beginning in which God placed man as guardian over the earth to make it fruitful.”
|
The Mary-hailers have had to turn Scripture inside out to make it fit their tree-hugging nonsense. God told us to be fruitful, and He created us to subdue the earth and have dominion over its creatures:
Genesis 1:26-28: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
We're the ones who are to subdue and have dominion, but as usual, the Vatican has it exactly backward.
The fish heads are also showing a lack of faith in God's ability to provide whatever we need:
Matt. 6:26: Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Philippians 4:19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Just in case that isn't blasphemous enough, the Romanists have to add the following:
Quote:
After the Vatican agreement was announced, Msgr. Melchor Sánchez de Toca Alameda, an official at the Council for Culture at the Vatican, told the Catholic News Service that buying credits was like doing penance. “One can emit less CO2 by not using heating and not driving a car, or one can do penance by intervening to offset emissions, in this case by planting trees,” he said.
|
Doing penance? I've got news for you, Sancho Panza de Torquemada: Trees don't forgive sins; Jesus does. Also, how many trees will the Vatican plant to "offset" its pedophile scandal?
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

I, for one, welcome the Catholic Church's involvement in issues such as the environment, world peace, and economic justice. I just wish it would shut up about reproductive freedom.
P.S. Is there some reason why you always quote from the King James? The NIV uses gentler language.

The NIV is of satan.
It removes verses, and corrupt others.
And the "gentler language" is only there to make you sodomites think that God doesn't really hate you, but He does.
Oh He does...

You better believe we believe in social justice!
As for "reproductive freedom," you say it's OK to slaughter unborn babies?

Social justice?
According to whom? The antichrist of Rome?
Pray tell, is it "social justice" when he prances around in prada and gucci like a homer, while many cathylicks literally starve?

Yes, he is.
He's condones baby-killing.
But atleast he's honest about it..
He doesn't condemn it merely because he needs a steady supply of altarboys to violate like you sick pedophiles.

Unborn babies aren't people. Life begins when a properly married Christian woman delivers a viable, white, non-mongo child and it lives, by itself, with no further life support than a tit.
Christian babies are perfect and viable. Everything else is a demon, goth or witch.

Where in the Bible does it say "thou shalt not have an abortion"?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Correction, I let my emotions get ahead of me.

There is nothing between the lines in the Bible, Father M. What you see is what you get. There is no other meaning besides what you are reading there.
Are you starting to understand?
1st Timothy 2: 9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1st Timothy 2: 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works ...
1 Timothy 5: 16 If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed ...
Proverbs 31: 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness ...
Proverbs 31: 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness ...

Can't you even count to 6?
The fifth commandment is Honor thy father and and thy mother - and "father" means "your male parent" - not your local papist pedo-padre.
Here are the Ten Commandments - all of them - for your edification. Pay particular attention to the second commandment, which you fish heads have somehow "forgotten".
1st Corinthians 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
1st Corinthians 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
1st Corinthians 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

Nope, the Ten Commandments are:
1. I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
4. Honor thy father and thy mother.
5. Thou shalt not kill.
6. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
7. Thou shalt not steal.
8. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
9. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods.

Oops! What happened to God's ban on worshiping graven images?
God pretty much insists that we NOT alter His Holy Word, did you know that?
Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Nonsense. That list was invented by the mad monk Augustine, who deliberately skipped the second commandment (You know: The one about not bowing down to graven images).
And don't try to deny it. Even your antichrist in Rome admits it. Here it is - right from the Devil's mouth. (notice to True Christians™: BEWARE - if you click the following link, it will take you to the Vatican's home page. If in doubt, ask your pastor. www.vatican.va/archive/catechism/p3s2.htm
Quote from Catechism # 2066
2066 The division and numbering of the Commandments have varied in the course of history. The present catechism follows the division of the Commandments established by St. Augustine, which has become traditional in the Catholic Church. It is also that of the Lutheran confessions. The Greek Fathers worked out a slightly different division, which is found in the Orthodox Churches and Reformed communities.
The "present" division was invented by Augustine - the same madman who invented the Original Sin. And the pope admits that " The Greek Fathers worked out a slightly different division" - I guess not deleting the second commandment is "slightly different".
Go ahead and follow your "slightly different, present division", while we follow God's Ten Commandments - ALL TEN OF THEM.

Good question. All three versions of the Ten Commandments in the Bible (Exodus chapters 20 and 34; Deuteronomy chapter 5) have that prohibition, but the Mary-hailing version somehow leaves it out.

As if we needed more proof that Jesus wants you to turn from idolatry to the TRUE Baptist CHURCH, here you are, days after your tearful goodbye, unable to pull yourself away. PRAISE! Yes, you're fighting Him every step of the way, but in the end He will win, so surrender yourself to the Lord now!
