I know a few White people that feel like the slave movies that were made in hollywood, portrayed the Whites as evil; violent, and sexually out of control.
I personally loved watching slave movies, because it showed me where I came from and what my purpose is in life. Versus watching some fake TV show about how much negros contributed to society (when they actually didn't) making me act jealous and envious over White Men for "holding me down."
But it is very interesting to read and hear about how slavery wasn't all about hangings and beatings. But in fact that the relationship between the salve and Master, was very good which is way there wasn't a lot of slaves that ran away.
Are both schools of thought OK to have in this case, because I don't know which one is right or wrong, so any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.
