Humans arose from natural selection, not filth and slime. Filth and slime is also relative. Why you think is disgusting is not what other organisms than is disgusting. For example, some organisms that live way under the ocean's crust are vulnerable to oxygen, the gas necessary for us to live.

The big bang is more plausible than the story of God creating the earth in six days. Scientists aren't exactly sure what caused the big bang, there are theories, but that doesn't mean we label an omnipotent creature that must have done it.
