I think I can answer the question about Jesus and underpants. Just look at any picture in the world about our dear, sweet Jesus as those sinful Joos and heathen Romans crucified him. He is always wearing underwear. And it is always clean and white.
Now how many times have we all heard our mothers tell us to wear a clean pair of underwear in case we get into an accident? It only stands to reason that Jesus being God and knowing all those prophesies about his impending trials and tribulations (not to mention hanging and dying) that he would have followed his mother's advice and would have been prepared.
