Anybody can have an accident. But Barack Obama doesn't care how sorry large international megacorporations are--- he's going to criticize them in the left wing media until they lose even MORE of their enormous profits!!
The same thing happened in the 1980s when the liberals in congress teamed up with the left-wing, business-hating media to bash Union Carbide in the wake of an ACCIDENTAL pesticide leak. Union Carbide lost so much money as a result of the bad press, its new owner Dow Chemical Company just walked away from their Bhopal plant and left 390 tons of toxic chemicals to whichever Indian entrepreneur wants to market it--- although nobody has tried to in the past 25 years, and some of it has leaked into the groundwater.
Nevertheless, we've seen this kind of treatment before from the socialist LIEberals that just can't STAND it when a fine, upstanding multinational corporation doing business offshore makes a little, tiny mistake. Instead of just moving on after an apology, the LIEberals always want to take a chunk out of a great corporation and cripple it from making billions elsewhere..... via bad press, fines, lost productivity, and paperwork.
