  • Exodus 20:3-6

    True Christians(TM),

    The Lord laid upon my heart a couple of passages that is going to give the Unsaved Trash in godless Nepal & other parts of the world something to think about and hopefully they will pay close attention because this applies to them:

    Exodus 20:3-6 KJV1611

    3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

    4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

    5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

    6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

    We all know that in different parts of the world there are false religions all over the place that have their own "god" that they worship. Catlicks for example, they worship the Pope. People in Asia have Buddha. Just to name some. My question to them is this, What do they have to offer that God doesn't? I can answer that in one simple word NOTHING except the fact that they have this to look forward to in Revelations 21:8 KJV1611:

    8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

    To those people who chose to worship anything or anyone other than Sweet Jesus, this is especially for you! I pray Sweet Jesus' blessing on the reading of HIS words!

    The Bible tells us that a god who can't speak, see, hear or breathe is useless.

    Ps 135:15-18
    15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
    16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
    17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
    18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.

    Why can't the worshippers of false gods see that?
    sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

      Mr. Pendergast,

      Offhand, I would say they can't see it because they are ignorant. That's the only explanation that comes to my mind at this time.

        They're not just ignorant; they suppress the truth. Deep down, they know the God of the Bible is real, but when they deny Him, it leaves a vacuum in their souls, so they turn to worshipping idols or nature.

        Rom 1:20-23
        20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
        21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
        22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
        23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

        Anyway, thank you for sharing your devotion. There's no doubt in my mind the Nepalese brought that earthquake on themselves through their idolatry. It just saddens me how adherents of false religions didn't think about future generations. Even if everyone in Nepal converted to Christianity tomorrow, they would still get earthquakes in the region for another three or four generations (if Jesus doesn't return before then, of course).
        sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? Not only ignorant but fools.

          Psalm 53:1-3b KJV
          ..
          The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy;

          Because they are blinded to the perfection we experience every day and are unable to discern God they just make up anything. Toadstool worship. Idol. Sex orgy. And have you seen the idols? Like do they make a serene thing calm of face and eye? No. They make hideous reptile bird nightmare-squirting, flames with teeth, myriad convulsing limbs. And yet they are more than fools.

          The Bible explains that they're also
          • corrupt
          • abominable
          • iniquitous
          • recidivist
          • filthy
          God does not stop there. We know they are maniacs but are they also scum?

          Ezekiel 24:6b-14 KJV
          Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it. For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust that it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great. Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned. Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed. She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire. In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.

            Thank you both for sharing God's views with me. Miss Lizalor, I took a look at that video in your reply and all I can say is that the rapture needs to come quickly and get rid of all this heathen nonsense!

              Indeed friend. Though God in His Divine Mercy has given the heathen chance upon chance, there will come a day (soon!) when God obliterates and casts them into the Inferno once and for all. I'm sure you can imagine my eagerness for this day to come, when we as Christians will no longer be mocked by atheists and Hinduese, but be vindicated once and for all. Then True Christians™ will have the last laugh!

                Mr. Jenkins,

                Believe me, I have no doubt in my mind that you have eagerness for all this to end!

                Galatians 6:7 KJV1611 - 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

                By this I mean that when unsaved trash mock True Christians™ it's the same as mocking God. Period! Since they are sowing this sort of an attitude they will reap a one way ticket to hellfire! Can I get an Amen!

                The following verse also goes along with the last part you were saying

                Romans 12:19 KJV1611 - 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

                I believe in my heart of hearts that God will get the last laugh when that day comes and I am very much looking forward to it!

                  Hebrews 11:1-3 KJV
                  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

                  Exodus is a great book. Without the revelation of God's Commandments can you imagine how people would behave? Trollop central, idols everywhere, why not eat babies, pervert-it-up in the public square and flaunt serial killing as a social grace? With no moral compass the heathen has no reason not to do these things and Exodus provides a sound historical record of God's provision in this regard.

                  Og. Synonymous with pride, blood lust, high walls, gates and bars. No doubt he saw himself secure within a haçienda of vice—as we know it could only be due to our having God's Just Law and he not—but Og was vulnerable. From the historical record:
                  Deuteronomy 3:3-6 KJV
                  So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining. And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many. And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

                  Framing those 60 cities with walls and bars was no defence against the Authority Of God. Nukes and nerve gas are similarly impotent where His Will is manifest as it is in these end times and where maniacs seek once more to destroy. At this stage they are primarily destroying one another and it's difficult to see how any unified assault would eventuate.

                  But our faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen and just as I am encouraged whenever I read Exodus, encouraged every time its accuracy verified, so I am encouraged by the consistency of God's Word and the unseen certainty of a solution at last despite the terror yearned for by heathen wretches everywhere.
