And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her.

Have you even read the Bible? Or do you think you can pick and choose which bits are real?

Is the Resurrection real?
Is Jesus defying gravity real?

When Jesus, God-The-Son, spoke as Yahweh, God-The-Father, though the Holy Ghost to the army at Jabesh-gilead (Judges 21:10-24)

When Jesus, God-The-Son, spoke as Yahweh, God-The-Father, though the Holy Ghost to the army with regards to divinely sanctioned murder, rape and pillage of the Midianites (Numbers 31:7-18)

Ever notice rape is not in the Ten Commandments?

Consider another example in which murder, rape, and pillage are sanctified by the LORD our God (Deuteronomy 20:10-14)

As you can see, under certain circumstances (namely when God says it's okay) God approves of murder, rape, and slavery.

Laws of rape protect the father by restoring his loss of value (Deuteronomy 22:28-29)

Laws of rape protect the community (Deuteronomy 22:23-24)

Note King David's Punishment does not take into consideration the concerns of the women with regard to who's bed they will share (2 Samuel 12:11-14)

But God is a practical God. He has certain expectations when selling a daughter to be the sex slave of another man (Exodus 21:7-11)


But the LORD is not wholly unsympathetic to the emotional state of women in sexual distress. He told his men to be patient, clip the nails of their victims, shave their heads, allow them a month to mourn the slaughter of their families before taking them again and again and again, forcing them to be mothers of Israelite children, or at least the pastime entertainment for healthy young men (Deuteronomy 21:10-14)
