      First and second definitions are just right out.

      The problem with the third is that you're applying modern human (read: secular) morality and ethics to the divine, who (according to the Bible) defines what is right, including slavery, genocide, and the death penalty for witches, disobedient children, apostates, non-virgin brides who have been paid for, etc.

      What God does is by definition Godly.
      What God does is by definition UnGodly. You can't out rule a definition, and not out rule other definitions. Just like you can't take one bible verse to heart but not another. Our modern human morality has advanced beyond just simply bowing down to an unproven God. If your God is there, why the hell hasn't he shown up? Maybe he's just scared of all the bad things he's done to the Human race?

      Think for once in your life, would ya? Have an independent mind.

      And why would you try to prove a God like that? Do you hear yourself? Shouting out Bible verses that completely show the dictator, murdering bastard that is your God.

          That's what YOU were trying to do.

          Let's look again at definition 1: "1. not accepting God or a particular religious doctrine; irreligious; atheistic: an ungodly era.". How could GOD "not accept God" or be "irreligious" or "atheistic"?

          Definition 2: "2. sinful; wicked; impious; not conforming to religious tenets or canons: an ungodly life.:" God DEFINES sin, wickedness, impiety.

          Definition 3 was covered earlier.

            I was wondering, with all the talk of Greek and Roman stuff is it okay, in your opinion, if I read and enjoy Greek myths and the stories about the Roman gods? I'm not saying I believe in any of it. I just think it makes for something fun to read sometimes.

                  Hmm ooops wrong thread. My apologies. I'm sorry. Oh and I don't study demons. They are just stories. Myths and legends. Things people used to believe. Some of the poetry from that time is really nice. I study theatre.
