So naturally, if there is punishment for this rape, the rape itself is not a desirable action or outcome. Punishment is only handed out for sin.
So, to put this back into context, i.e of the original poster, why is he (and others who have joined in with him) praying for someone to commit a sin?
This is hardly the "True Christian" way, is it? Or is it now ok to pray for others to commit sin or for sin to take place?
A confused bunch of people, with confused ideas, i fear.

Friend, it should be obvious from my last post that it is not so black and white to the Lord. Only certain rapes are sinful. At other times, it is a sin not to rape. Most Biblical references to rape are commandments by God to perform it. In others, it is considered a tort, and can be rectified by purchasing the damaged property and raping it some more. The only time rape is considered a crime is when it is a subset of adultery, such as when a betrothed woman is raped within the city limits. But all husbands are given license to rape their wives whenever it suits them, for Ephesians explains that the authority of a man over his wife is as absolute as the authority of God over His church.
Quote:
Ephesians 5:23
King James Version (KJV)
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

This clearly entails that not only can a husband rape his wife as much as he wants, but he can toss her into Hell on a whim after he rapes her, if that is his will. So it is a woman's duty to obey both God's law and the law of her husband, or suffer a punishment for each.
