A reasonable question, Dear Friend,
The greatest Love one can show is the Love that does the greatest good to people. The
greatest good imaginable is to Live forever in Joy in Heaven with
Jesus. We show the sinners how this is possible. Sinners resist the Good Message of Jesus very forcefully and often the message irritates them. There are many things that make people fail the
entrance examination to Eternal Life with Jesus. Some examples are as follows:
1 Corinthians 6:9
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Now, it would be
false teaching to tell these people, such as the effeminate, that they are OK and no matter what, a place in Heaven is guaranteed. That would be
hating them. Instead, we
love them enough to show them the True™ but exhausting path to
Salvation.
Jesus rejects them if they reject Him (John 3:18). We love them and want what is best for them. They don't have to LIKE it. The Truth™ can be painful.
