Some important history lessons:

The Poles idea of national defense is a set of speed bumps at their borders.
The Italians, who once ruled the known world as the Romans, have since used up all their military mien. Their prefered method of winning a war these days is to fight for one side until it is clearly on the losing slope, then switch sides in time for the victory parade.
