Default Re: Yet another attempt by Satan to destroy us. The "Easy-to-Read Version" of the Bible. - 01-03-2014, 11:17 AM

For its inerrant position alone, the KJV (1611) Bible stands head and shoulders above other bibles including the ones I grew up on. I don't think any other bible books could claim to be inerrant and irrefutable. At best, they're considered divinely inspired; at worst, lame translations from the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts.

For example, you won't find a Catholic, Syrian Orthodox or Anglican vigorously defend their so-called bibles the way I see Landover Church the KJV. Why is it so? These false Christians have the gall to say that inerrancy is a non-issue and anyone looking for precision in God's word for mankind is simply being pedantic and fanatical, go figure!

I'm not discrediting the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts from which the KJV Bible was envisioned. Since God gave the original Ten Commandments among others in Old Testament through the Hebrew language, the Jews of Israel almost make the cut in terms of God's salvation shortlist. Unfortunately, they (except for the Messianic ones) blew it by failing to recognize Jesus in the flesh when he blessed Israelities by being born as one of their own, a huge folly in judgment. The Gentiles ended up benefiting from Jesus's sacrifice instead of God's chosen people and the rest is history.

One more thing, English is the language God chose to give us Scripture in, and if anyone on Earth wants access to inerrant Scripture, they must learn English or else be doomed. I would go out on a limb to suggest English is a huge improvement over the original Greek, Hebrew and Latin Bibles because it's the only language in recorded history that can claim to be universally spoken and understood (although a majority of humans still can't speak English with acceptable fluency).

Sure, Latin must have been a lingua franca at some point of time but except for some countries in Europe, no other place would care for all that ipso facto blah blah. Contrast that with English which dominates more than 80% of the Internet,

Mind you the Internet will be God's chosen vehicle to communicate with mankind come the second arrival of Jesus. What an opportunity for today's generation who couldn't be bothered to put aside their foolish games instead of reading the Bible and knowing God's word. Instead they waste their time on xbox games, Japanese manga, Bollywood/emo music, cyber-texting and debating whether or not gay marriages should be allowed. A sheer waste of opportunity.
