The Bible is a great book, filled with much wisdom, but it simply IS NOT literally true, especially when it comes to matters of science. Why don't you instead support the scientific study of God's wonderful Creation? Is your faith really not strong enough to live with the facts instead of your fantasies?

Well that's just crazy talk. Are you saying that the Ressurection is not literal? Lazarus coming back from the dead? Jesus walking on the water and turning the water into wine?
What metric do you use to decide what is literal and what is not, in the Bible? If God had not wanted it in the Bible do you not think He has the power to remove it?
Or do you ignore God's omnipotence, also?
Think about it. God bless.
