Re: GOD HATES SCOTLAND ! -

The same thought worried me in my younger days; however, I reasoned that as God had done James VI of Scotland a great boon by making him also King James I of England. The Lord actually turned James from Scottish, through English, into British. Look on it as rather like a fore-runner of the ex-negro program.
Now at this point, it is wisest not to upset God, as you are in hock to Him – see what happened to Solomon in his later days. James VI & I was therefore an idea kingly personage in whom to invest this great work, and after all God has a propensity to deal with kings.
So we see that God had it all planned, even before James was born, and it all worked out well – Praise and Glory! He wanted the Bible writing inerrantly but He needed someone to do the job, someone who fitted into the scheme of things, who was powerful and who owed Him one.
As I have written elsewhere, (a) this meant that Scotland became a province of England (showing that God doesn't much care for Scotland) and (b) lead directly to America being God’s Favorite country.
So the plan was long-term, just, beneficial to mankind and very successful… in fact, one might say, it was Godly!
PS God commissioned KJV, not KJVI&I.
