When your employer (who probably sees you more than your parents and thus knows you better) pays you $2, he does so because he knows you are pretty much worthless as a person, then why should I pay more?
If God wanted servers to become rich from their unskilled and untrained job for which there are infinite people who would replace you, then He would make sure they had a good salary. Instead I know God rewards people for their faith: Proverbs 10:22, see also the verses that tell The Lord is the one who made Job rich after he withstood the tests of his faith and those that relate how king Solomon was made astronomically rich by God. Myself I am faithful to Jesus, and that's why my time is worth $375 per hour as a legal consultant, and not $2 as a table monkey.
