The trouble is that before His word can be obeyed it's necessary to know what it says. So modern "churches" just stand around going

Where in that is a place for The Word Of God? And they like to identify with special "translations" omitting important elements of doctrine or paraphrasing everything into "gender inclusive" langusge. Oh but Jesus teaches us to love everyone they parrot. But they're not parrotting Jesus are they. No. Jesus never said any such thing. But they don't know that. They don't know what He didn't say and they don't know what He did say and they don't know what to do with sex perverts (catholics excepted) and probably have crystal ball gazing on a Wednesday and a disco on Saturday which at least acknowledges Saturn I suppose but they don't know that either. So what's left for Sunday, Mr Light?

I'm feeling sick enough as it is, just having read that ridiculous Catholic enclopædia looking for something about Lucifer and it goes spouting off on the "planet" Venus, astrology, auroræ, the King of Babylon (who is Jesus apparently according to them, possessing surpassing virtue to the glory of heaven by reason of its excellency). Then they bust out all over with the Exultet of Holy Saturday whatever that is. A demon I expect. "The true light of our spiritual life" as indeed is the case for this false religion.

Their entry for DEMONOLOGY waffles on about Assyrian and Akkadian and Iranian obsessions with demons, not a surprise at all, then they gat started on the Jewish agenda. I did a quick search. "Jesus" was not mentioned once and their sneering tome in describing Baptists left a very unpleasant taste. What they could not see in their compulsive ravings was that all the ire and bile they spewed ACTUALLY DESCRIBED THEM. No wonder they couldn't mention Jesus. The demons operating them would be repulsed.

Through all the jolting we endure as Christians keeping to the narrow path described by Jesus, sustained by His Grace, despite demonic efforts to create little earthquakes so we'd miss our footing and wander off into their phantasmagoria of lust and depravity we learn to recognise those who have fallen. The papist for example. The Anglican. Satan agitates their path and sure enough up and over they have gone. Tossed into his pit of heretics and heathens is proof, for me, that they had no rock for their anchor. Probably no anchor either. Jesus reminded me how vile these are, the things they think about, the things they do, the filth in their minds Mr Light. It just revolts me. How can they think such things? Just stand outside a catholic church and look at them, it's as though they're made of glass but unfortunately for them they moved and now they're cracking up.

Well they are all unspeakably horrible, but i had to go with the yids. I mean come on....ACTUALLY KILLING JESUS puts them is a category unreachable by mere human folly. Vampires are saints compared to the hook-nosed joos.

Uh yes, it is sad that our lord was murdered by the Jews, but think; he had to be murdered on the cross not only to fullfill prophecys but to save the sinful mortals by dieing for their sins.

I woke up this gods morning and just wondered about this thread and how its name fits into evangelical theology.
Do not evangelicans like to state often enough that they are not religious, dont fell part of a "religion", but have a personal relationship wit Jesus instead.

But that says logically that all "religions" are false and the word "false religion" would be obsolete since in that theological view the word "religion" in itself woud stand for falsety like devil stands for evil.

On the other hand: If someone states that he has nothing to do with any religion that could get him dangerously near in the nearness of atheism, and I presume an evangelical could not stand that.

What do you say?
