  • Some helpful Bible verses to resist temptation of women

As we all know from our own life experiences, women pose the greatest peril in a Christian man's walk with Jesus. While they are capable of spiritual growth and salvation, almost all these creatures deep down in their hearts are bursting with unChristian qualities like envy, deceit, malice, depravity, lust, immorality, impurity and debauchery thus, bringing imminent downfall and destruction on men. It's in their nature, they simply can't help it anymore than a cobra snake can injecting you with its venom.

Indulging in the company of women apart from marriage and procreation is nothing but gratification of a man's sinful soul and contrary to what the Holy Spirit expects from us. Pick up any history book, flip to any page and no matter where you stop at, you'll find that it was always a woman who brought ruin upon healthy, strong and prosperous men. In Iliad, it was a lustful bitch called Helen who sowed the seeds of discord between Greece and Troy bringing death and destruction upon countless men soldiers (they called her the face that launched a thousand ships for a reason). It was a perverted, snake-loving mother called Olympias that nurtured Alexander's selfish ambitions and narcissistic personality disorder.

It should be universally understood that if you're a strong, healthy and prosperous man devoted to Christ's path, women will automatically look at you as a potential target, no exceptions. The very fact that you don't give in to their charms makes that feminine lust even more brazen and out of control. Women can't resist the allure of plotting your destruction and distracting you from your earthly duties and responsibilities - to family, Jesus, poor and downtrodden.

The question is how cam a Christian man resist a good-looking temptress preventing her from gaining the upper hand in a relationship. Fortunately, the Bible (KJV 1611) has all the answers to our need. The following verses have given me the immense confidence, building inner strength and courage to resist the sexual advances of a self-serving nymphomaniac.

Proverbs 7:25 - Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

Proverbs 7:26 - For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

James 1: 12 - Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Matthew 5:31 - It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement.

Matthew 5:32 - But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

    Brother.

To those who walk with CHRIST women are just a nuisance and, dutifully married, a source of most excellent CHRISTIAN CHILDREN.

Genesis 33:5 And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant

And quoting pagan/satanic myths, from no other than the fetid lies of ancient greek buggers (current greeks being equally pederastic but less mythologically inclined)...

I wonder if your next thread will be about the buggering "gods"/DEMONS from that hell-hole called india...

Brother I should clarify this lest I offend the sensitivities:
of LBC church members, I have no sympathy for
Greek perverts or Hindu satanic myths. I just wanted
to allude to this subject with well known examples
from history. Moreover a good Christian woman is
a far superior being compared to promiscuous
sluts elsewhere...guided by the Holy Spirit, she can
control her baser urges and wouldn't have made
appropriate example to the point I was driving home.

      Peace

Guided by HER HUSBAND (and her father before), without a man's stern but loving hand and tutoring ANY woman is incapable of distinguishing the Holy Spirit from an MQ1-Predator (o r a common seagul for that matter).

John 4:16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

As for your "well known examples", keep in mind that the only good examples (and fairly well known within this forum) are in the KJV, all else is heathen babble.

Re: Some helpful Bible verses to resist temptation of women

Brethren, the 19th chapter of Judges is very helpful in showing how weak and dangerous are women. Surely the Levite priest in that story, uh I mean account, made a wise choice when he listened to the erm, righteously groovy men who surrounded his house:

Judges 19, 22: While they were enjoying themselves, the men of the city, a perverse lot, surrounded the house, and started pounding on the door. They said to the old man, the master of the house, 'Bring out the man who came into your house, so that we may know him.'

Instead of denying the demands of hospitality, that Man of God handed over his tart to let them "know her". She was evidently dressed in a too appealing and "revealing" way, and thus she turned the heads of most of the men she met that night, but the Bible carefully avoids giving us their names or anything specific about these individual men, since they were all just in the eyes of the LORD. Being a repentant woman myself and having been dressed too sluttily, I am grateful for having been disciplined, bound and put in my place to have my soul saved.

As a priest, I don't have to worry about women tempting me. I'm married to the word of God.

Priest men who attempt to usurp the authority of God, who worship and even lead the worship of statues and pictures of saints, relics and the like are doomed to reap the Fiery Pit of Hell as their reward.
God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11

I joined the priesthood to follow in the footsteps of St. Peter, the proven first pope of the chuch (and for the free communion wine).

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

No thanks. I studied under the great Father Michael O'Keefe and earned my Masters of Divinity from Trinity College of Dublin. I barely passed, but that's not the point here.

Who is St. Peter? Because the Bible talks only about the Apostle Peter (who, by the way, is not described as a "pope," either), not some saint.

No of course not. It's the little choir boys who succeed in tempting you every time, isn't it.

Well, there is nothing wrong with a glass of Bushmills Whiskey sometimes.

And what it comes to small boys (and sometimes also girls) - Catlick bishops have said that children seduce their priests.

Seems to me that catlick cult has brought them up well.

The Apostle Peter, who wrote Epistles of Peter for they bear his name, considered himself only an elder.

1 Pet 5:1a The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder . . .

You Catholics always try twist Matthew 16:18.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Obviously, when Jesus said, "This rock," He was pointing to Himself. The Catholic interpretation is based on the assumption that Jesus was pointing to Peter. That completely changes the meaning!
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
