Still we have to check if the youth could not be an Original Apostle
Do you wish to give me the adress so I can visit and inspect the young boy very closely?
I mean; If the Pastor does not care, why let an good oppurtunity go to waste?

Filthy godmocking papists from Finland are not allowed in Freehold, so you won't be "inspecting" anything.

I seriously doubt that my 14 year old Indonesian houseboy is related to any of the 12 Apostles.

We have 3 Pastors at LBC who can trace their line directly from an Apostle. I won't say who unless you're a Platinum Tither or above.

I think it safe to say that by now The Apostles (Judas aside) are long from this earth and by the side of Jesus in Heaven.

The idea of immortal Apostles is something one would expect from the Joseph Smith/magic underwear crowd (See: The three Nephites) and should be left to fringe groups and cults who are not truly aligned with Christianity...

... oh wait... we are talking Landrover Baptwits here so all bets are off.

                .
You are ignoring the fact that the Immortal Apostles are undeniably scriptural

But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God. - Luke 9:27

Yes, Joseph Smith took many elements from the bible and worked them over and reused them in the Book of Mormon - but that doesnt mean that the bible lies.
The three Immortalo Nephites are no doubt a plagiat of the Immortal Apostles - so what ?
And to name another example : The unbeliever Alma, who was struck down temporarily by god and became a great prophet as a result is no doubt a plagiat of Saint Paul. Following your logic Saint Paul would have never existed

But lets not give a Baptist church reason to laugh about two Roman Catholic who debate the Book of Mormon in their forum. Instead work here with me, my coreligionist, to find out more about the Immortal Apostles

If you do that I will offer you some ministrants I tired of, just like joseph Smith used to offer Brigham Young those of his wifes he tired of. What do you say?

Re: The Twelve Disciples of CHRIST: Where are They Now?

                    My dear fellow true Christians

The Question about the whereabouts, number and names of that apostles who still walk the earth has to be pursued further because I am sure that every true Christian is interested to know

Luke makes it clear that they among us today:

But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God. - Luke 9:27

And it is said that it was John who wrote more about immortality than anyone else in the bible.

Like John 11:24-25-26-27 where he writes about ETERNAL LIFE.

24Martha said to him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe you this? 27She said to him, Yes, Lord: I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

And of course there is John 21:22

22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

Lets start our inquiry with the possible meaning of the word "some"(out of twelve). Logically it means a number from three to eleven apostles being still alive on this good planet earth.

I suggest as the next step that we good Christians together try to consult the many written down works of Catholic Church History which were all written by good Catholic Scribes and Saints and therefore can contain neither flaw nor forgery

Therein together we will find where in the past one or the other apostle could have appeared or is sure to have left his mark amid the centurys

Above I already gave the example of Saint Peter who wrote personally a letter to King Pippin in the middle ages, therefore proving himself still alive
Ex 20:4-5 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; <--- That includes Mary

Re: The Twelve Disciples of CHRIST: Where are They Now?

                      Dear Brothers in Christ

Finally my research about the question who of the twelve apostles can be assumed to be still alive beared first Fruit

Yes; I found a lead in the holy bible itself and in the writings of the young church.

There is one apostle who definitely was part of the twelve when Christ made his promise in Luke 9:27

But he must be an Immortal because he hangs himself in Matthew 27:5 while we find him alive again in Acts 1:18 where he seemingly takes deathly fall.

Next thing we know is that Papias an Apostolic Father, Bishop of Hierapolis and author who lived circa 70-163 AC lets us indirectly know that both fatalitys could not kill this apostle, because Papias writes he died of an horrible illness.

Needless to say that an Immortal who survives hanging and later a fatal fall can by all means be assumed to not really die on a deathly illness.

Judas Iskariot, the twelfth apostles must be one of the immortal apostes that still dwell among us.
Living on earth and seeking out the companionship of true Christians.
He may have the habit to give them brotherly kisses.
Or he may have the habit of going to church very often to get forgiveness.

So I especially advise all citizens of Freehold to think hard by whom they were kissed recently - It could well have been Judas in disguise.

I also advise that when you go to church next time do very closely observe your neighbors and also the preacher.

Anyone there could be Judas in Person. Anyone
Ex 20:4-5 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. So the Bible says one thing, and someone claims this "Papias" says something else, and you think Papias is telling the truth, therefore you don't believe the Bible.

You don't believe the Bible, so please stop claiming to be Christian.

That doesn't make any sense. While we might like to think of them all in Heaven worshiping Jesus and singing His Praises (with the exception of Judas, of course, whose bowels are probably still being stuffed inside him just so he can relive the experience of them exploding out of his body every day in Hell - like Prometheus, but less pagan like and more Satanic obviously), the fact is, that's a silly idea.

                              The gang's not all here

Brother Bob4God is absolutely right. Some of these guys must be hanging around, and probably in Freehold, too. We know there is no "Assisted Living" facilities, no "Old Folks Homes" here. Those too lazy or too stubborn to go meet their Maker aren't coddled here, that is for sure. So they're probably out somewhere. I notice neither Cranky nor Hatchet have stepped forward to admit being BFF's with Jesus (in the flesh, as opposed to Spiritual BFFs like me and Jesus), so either they have some super secret mission to conduct, or they forgot, or some other old man in church is using Grecian Formula to hide his identity. I can't imagine any one of Jesus' former BFFs would be a meterosexual, but stranger things have happened.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

My dear son Didymus, please do not so painstakingly doubt the truth like your one famous apostolic namesake nor be a "blind theologian" like your other coptic Namesake. I do not even know if you are a copt. Are you?

I never doubted the Bible, instead I marked that Papias was another witness to its truth

So far the Bible itself shows my Judas theory true - and Papias simply bears witness to the truth of Judas biblically assured immortality
