When the KJV says it's Lucifer (as in Isaiah 14:12) it's satan all right. But as a taunting, satan being what he is.
BUT joos didn't have smileys in their alphabet (those misers didn't even pay for vowels ) and without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is utterly impossible to parody satan in such a way that someone won't mistake for the genuine article.
That's why GOD made sure that in the KJV it was spelled out in full. LUCIFER.
Revelation 22:16 is clearly JESUS.
But any angel, when servicing the LORD, is as a bright star. Pumping and pumping light.
