Don't be silly. Even the demons whom Jesus cast out and crammed into a herd of pigs believed Jesus was who He said He was. That didn't save them, and your version of belief won't save you. Consider what the Holy Bible says,

Scripture clearly teaches that circumcision in the flesh was a type of repentance, a type of obedience, or a type of sanctification. The rebellion, which was born in paradise, must be removed. What is the result of removing that rebellion? We will walk in the service of God. That is the lesson God is teaching Abram with the covenant of circumcision. He walked thirteen years in rebellion, and that stiffnecked, rebellious spirit had to be removed; it had to be cut off and cast away. Abram would then come back into humble service of God.

It wasn't enough for the Jews to know they had a worthless flap of skin on the tip of their member that offended the LORD. They were required to snipp it off. It's the same with sin. It's not enough to know it's there.
