Re: GOP strategy memo: use these codewords for disciplined messaging

      More liberal codewords:

Pay your fair share = Pay dozens of times more than anyone else

We're all in this together, we rise and fall together = Bigger government / Socialism/ When government fails we're going to make rich people and the middle class pay for our mistakes.

Marriage equality = Enable homosexual marriage

We want to help poor people = We want to take more money from hard working rich people

Affordable healthcare = forcing people to buy health insurance against their will

Americans don't take the easy or quick way out = We're going to make you pay more money for a long time

We have a long way ahead of us = I still haven't fixed our problems.

The ends justify the means in this case. I would prefer to be blunt and not use code words, however, if we did that, Republicans would lose voters to Democrats who do use code words, plummeting our country into further decent.

Tricking stupid people in order to get votes is a noble endeavor (when done by Republicans), because it ultimately benefits the country by putting more Republicans in office.
Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

        Here's one I've caught:

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

              AK-47 and AR-15--bad name choices

The military style weapons that we all cherish are getting a bad rap with evil sounding names that have a bad conotation. Why not rename them so they sound better to anti-gunners? The Ak-47 could be called 'Baby Jesus-47' and our Ar-15 could be called the 'Holy Smoking-Lamb of God-15'. Personaly, I feel that if I heard my infants were blasted to pieces by a crazed gunman in an elementary pre-school, it would be very comforting to know it was done by a 'Baby Jesus-47'!! Maybe this way folks wouldn't fear another massacre, but actually welcome several more in the future to boot! Praise Jesus and pass the ammo!

The AK series could be "Russian cultural artefacts" while the AR-15 could be a "fair-trade low-emmisions (smokeless powder) percussion instrument" while mass shootings could be "unscheduled interactive performance art" or "spontaneous all-ages cardio workout" or "economic stimulus for the healthcare sector".

Let's not forget more advanced forms of tyranny-prevention. Bazookas can have a "not testing on animals" logo added. Car bombs could have a sticker saying "we recommend use with a hybrid vehicle". Suicide vests of course are "employment opportunities for the mentally challenged" - but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Washington Post on Operation Spraytan, aka Hispandering:

When you're talking to the brown people, it's not "outreach", since that reminds people that brown people are outsiders to the GOP. Instead, call it "engagement". Just remember how soldiers "engage" their targets.

Always keep in mind that those fiery Latins have instant brain shutdown when we talk about what affects them:
“If you begin a sentence using the word ‘deportation’ they’re not going to listen to the next sentence, whether it’s on jobs or on crime or on health care or on education,” Fleischer said

I'm not sure what their brains would do if we talk about executing illegals.
When the panel was asked how the GOP would attract black voters, all heads immediately turned as one to McCall – the only African American among the five — like a scene from a late-night comedy skit.

What, obviously he's the expert - it's not like he was invited there because of his brains, self control, morality, or lawfulness. Let the guy work for once in his life!

The Republican Party: new slogans, new spokesmodels, same great ideology.

Re: GOP strategy memo: use these codewords for disciplined messaging

Wealthy white males are the only people who care about America. Women, brown people and others of their ilk only care about themselves, their own petty, irrelevant issues. They are also too stupid to figure out when a politician is shamelessly pandering to them. It's unthinkable that anybody successful enough to run for office might actually care about the petty, irrelevant issues that women bitch about and brown people whine about.

                      Therefore:

Talking about issues important to women and brown people = pandering.

On to Syria. If Obama decides to bomb without a vote from congress, this is of course "unconstitutional, tyrannical" behaviour that proves he's a "dictator". Since he isn't, that means he's "hesitant", "indecisive", and "lacking leadership."

When a republican ignores the constitution, that's leadership. When a republican doesn't, well, I'll figure that situation out if it ever happens.

Unconstitutional, tyrannical acts we like = leadership

Another use of the word "leadership" is when you can't think of a solution to a problem, perhaps because there are none available to the president. ie "If Obama showed leadership it would not have rained on my birthday".

Doing what we want, when we don't know what we want = leadership

Re: GOP strategy memo: use these codewords for disciplined messaging

I've been wondering if "jackbooted thug" to refer to police officers is counterproductive rhetoric, but I've decided not to replace it.

It turns out "jackbooted thug" was first coined by NRA president Wayne LaPierre, in an NRA fundraising letter after the Oklahoma city bombing, he described police officers as "armed terrorists dressed in Ninja black ... jack-booted thugs armed to the teeth who break down doors, open fire with automatic weapons and kill law-abiding citizens."

It only make the NRA stronger, as it convinced the lukewarn RINO George H.W. Bush (aka Bush senior) to quit his membership.

"I was outraged when, even in the wake of the Oklahoma City tragedy, Mr. Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of N.R.A., defended his attack on federal agents as "jack-booted thugs." To attack Secret Service agents or A.T.F. people or any government law enforcement people as "wearing Nazi bucket helmets and black storm trooper uniforms" wanting to "attack law abiding citizens...." Waaaaah!

                          How could I forget?

Helping the poor = buying votes

Of course this does not apply to farm subsidies, those mostly go to wealthy large-scale landowners, the sort of people who are simply not for sale. Only the poor prostitute themselves for votes.

"Would you let your daughter marry one?"

I've been pointing out the ineffectiveness of this cliche for a while now, and finally someone has come up with an updated version. The new term also replaces "R.I.N.O."

                            It's "cuckservative".

                            Short for "Cuckolded Conservative".

I know, strange word, "cuckold". I've not come across that word very often, it's usually only found in victorian novels. So has the Republican Party suddenly discovered a passion for victorian novels?

Google "cuckold porn" and you'll discover that the word "cuckold" actually is still used today - though it has a completely different meaning now. Today "cukold" means a man who passively watches black men have sex with white women.

So in short, R.I.N.O.s want to watch your daughter "marry one".

For a complete picture, look at these "cuckservative" images on google image search. More examples:

Ever miss the good old days when Jews could be spotted by looking for the star of David on their clothing? Donald Trump activists have found a modern equivalent:
Trump activists "...have begun using three sets of parentheses encasing a Jewish surname — for instance, (((Fleishman))) — to identify and target Jews for harassment on blogs and major social media sites like Twitter. As one white supremacist tweeted, "It's closed captioning for the Jew-blind."
Now, I hate to get semantic, but since this whole thread is about semantics....Closed captioning doesn't work on the blind, how the heck are the blind supposed to read captions?
"Hello ((Weisman))" it began after Weisman tweeted a Washington Post article about Donald Trump titled "This Is How Fascism Comes to America."

Weisman asked his harasser, @CyberTrump, to explain the symbol. "It's a dog whistle, fool," the user responded. "Belling the cat for my fellow goyim."

..."The anti-Semitic hate, much of it from self-identified Donald J. Trump supporters, hasn't stopped since," Weisman wrote.
Oh, and it should go without saying, that typing (((Jesus))) is a bannable offense.

Some day I will make a Politically-Correct to English translation guide. Here's a sampler to try out: every time a liberal says "stereotype" replace it with "fact" and notice how it suddenly makes sense:
BBC news: His casual reference to the stereotype that Rio is lawless and its police force corrupt infuriated Brazilian officials already reeling from a string of actual robberies on athletes.
                                Translate to:
Reality: His casual reference to the fact that Rio is lawless and its police force corrupt infuriated Brazilian officials already reeling from a string of actual robberies on athletes.
