Sinners, Jesus died for your sins. But no pass for you this Easter.
Last time I talked to Pastor Zeke, he was deep into preparations for his Easter Sunday sermon. We talked for a while about the phony Christians who show up in church twice a year, Easter and Christmas.
Then, there are churches that promote their services, thinking if people show up say at Easter they will return the next Sunday. I think churches should not advertise their Easter Sunday services. Instead sinners should be told they are not welcome. Pastor Zeke did not say this, but I would not be surprised if he asks for a show of hands from people who admit to being sinners--then has ushers remove them. http://www.christianpost.com/news/ch...s-list-117617/ |

In German we call them "U-Boot-Christen" (= "submarine Christians") because they only emerge on Easter and Christmas. It's like getting married and then only meet twice a year  Jesus doesn't hear their prayers. Being a Christian is a 24/7 job.

A fair and reasonable policy.
Will it be filmed and projected in the parking lot for Forum members to see? |

God loves sinners... without them His pastors would have nothing to do, and would get bored, turn to drugs and... become sinners (yikes!).. bit like a pest control person being told that the town was completely free of wasps and to go home...
Sinners give pastors something to live for... Hallejujah! |
