The Amalekites were giants and evil men on earth. They had to be defeated lest all mankind fell.

If you continue reading (rather than find bible verses through google) you'll find it was to erase injustice and evil (Ezekiel 9:9).

Your irony is confusing. Our God is merciful and forgiving and these very passages show just why!

Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

God allowed YOU to be spared an eternity of Hell if only you believe His Son died for your putrid sins! You need not follow the footsteps of these evil historical people, you can sing the praises of Jesus for all eternity! Shout Glory!

Nowhere in the Bible does God say internet forums should encourage God-mockers. We come here to glorify God. If you don't want to glorify Him, you don't need to be here. But you will find your life will never give you that sense of peace and fulfillment without Christ in your heart.

We can help, friend.

Amen! Who wants evil in their home and community?

Evil is not expressed through sexual acts or perversion, but it is expressed towards hard to others. She was not evil, she just made a perfectly rational decision. If anything, she should be helped, not destroyed.

The Amalekites were giants and evil men on earth. They had to be defeated lest all mankind fell.

Their children could of been redeemed if anything. So could their animals.

An example of extreme contradiction of the teachings of the bible itself, the "holy book" says that there is redemption for everyone, no matter how bad the sin. You are saying "let's fight fire with genocide". They didn't deserve to die.

And who wants that?

God.

How can you help me? You clearly can't help yourself.
You have been brainwashed by generations of corrupt propaganda to believe that god is supreme, that HE, the corrupt and evil entity that fails to show it's existence with convincing evidence, is infinitly good and mercifull.

Let me tell you this. Would a "just god" ever judge someone by his/her sexual preferences? Let alone punish them for it. Would he, with his infinite mercy, send those that cannot believe in Him (60% or more of the world population) to be tortured in eternal flames? Would He, with infinite knowledge, provide fake information in the bible to impede the progression of the human species? WOULD HE, THE SAVIOUR OF MANKING, DISAGREE WITH THE BASIC CONCEPT OF COEXISTANCE WITHIN THE HUMAN RACE?

Think about that.

They should have died, which is why God took them and spared those who love Him.

There are no contradictions in the teachings of the Bible. It is the very Word of God.

I think about these things all the time. I think about them in my prayer closet, I think about them when I'm doing my chores, I think about them when I teach my many children all about God's Love. I am not "brainwashed" with corrupt propaganda, I read the KJV Bible only, not propaganda literature, and let the Word of God fill my Spirit. If the atheist religion was really true and homosexuality wasn't evil, then we wouldn't have the AIDS, we wouldn't have perversion and child molestation. Your beliefs suggest no moral worldview and are a detriment to you and all of society. Furthermore, you know you feel empty, lacking, and this is the absence of the Holy Spirit in your life. This is how we can help - we can teach you how to get saved!

The very propaganda I was talking about IS the bible. Either all the books themselves were made with the exact intention to control the human species, or the authors who wrote them thought they were being inspired by god all the while they looked upon their conscience.

It wasn't gays that provoked all that harm, it was people like YOU. Deep down, you feel the deepest posible guilt ever existing, and you let it rot and swell. You know that through the intolerance of your beliefs, millions of people died, millions were intolarated, Your ignorance is slowly taking over, and soon you will be begging for a way to end it all. But I know that you also thrive for redemption, so release your chains from the bible and fly away freely and flourish into this world, all the while maintaining a state of coexistance with others. That is Paradise you Christians are all seeking.

PS The greatest evidence that the bible had a negative impact on society: It teaches that the Earth is flat, and because of this, people d.idn't bother to investigate it's true form. Those who did were tortured in the flames of christian intolarance. Only later people actually had the courage to protest the ignorance of christianity.

Oh no, friend, there is no propaganda, no "control." See, humans have free will, otherwise God would have made us robots programmed to love Him. Instead we can choose to love Him or not. And from the very beginning humans have chosen to not love Him.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Genesis 3:6

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
James 1:14

Oh no, that cannot be right. We True Christians™ don't do homosexual things, nor do we sin in any way, for our souls are filled with the Holy Spirit.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Exploring the earth has value only in bringing the Word of God to savages and heathens for the sake of their salvation. Other than that, who cares if it's flat or round?

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Don't be retarded. Those say absolutely nothing about redemption for anyone for any sin.

This is the problem with you Jesus-haters: you think you can Google a passing grade all the way through life.

I've devoted my LIFE to studying the Bible, and you've spent 20 minutes searching for "bible contradictions" and "god is merciful" and "really weird bible quotes" and etc. etc. Do you honestly think you are the first person to do that?

Try to reconcile the following with your concept of a totally-merciful God (and yes, this is New Testament, and yes, that is Our Lord Jesus Christ speaking):

(Mark 3:29) "But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation."

How does that say "whatever the sin?"
Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

That is a very inspiring verse Brother, but we use the King James Bible, version 1611, here at Landover. Psalm 58:10 reads as follows in the One True Bible©.

Quote:

10*The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
