  • Christian Actor Killed in Car Accident

May this be the first Hellywood celebrity to reach Heaven? Paul Walker lived a life filled with sex, sin and magic underpants, but turned to Christ before he died, just like Brother Jeffrey Dahmer. Does this mean that Paul Walker now is in Heaven?

Christian Actor Paul Walker Killed in Car Accident During Charity 'Reach Out Worldwide' Event

    Introduction on Paul Walker's faith:

Paul Walker was born in Glendale, California and grew up in San Fernando Valley.

Walker was brought up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or Mormons, in a large family of five children. Some of the more visible aspects of that faith include abstaining from sex before marriage and abstaining from drugs and alcohol. Apparently, Walker no longer follows these guidelines, however, as he says:

"I still hold myself accountable. I’m not the kind of guy who’s taking advantage of my position. I could be sleeping with a different 18-year-old girl every day if I wanted to. But that’s not my speed."

In fact, Walker doesn’t consider himself a Mormon anymore2 but he’s still quite religious–in a non-denominational, Christian sort of way. And he simply doesn’t get atheism:

"I’m a Christian now. The things that drove me crazy growing up was how everyone works at fault-finding with different religions. The people I don’t understand are atheists. I go surfing and snow boarding and I’m always around nature. I look at everything and think, ‘Who couldn’t believe there’s a God? Is all this a mistake?’ It just blows me away."

Hmmm. A lot of this looks good, and credit to the guy for walking away from the Mormen, but ...

The things that drove me crazy growing up was how everyone works at fault-finding with different religions.
Just this once I'll ignore the grammar, but was he seriously suggesting that we should "accept" Cathlicks and Buddhists and Mooslims - and even the Church of England! - without pointing out their faults? If so, then I think he's swimming in the lake of fire.

He may have been on the right path when he hi-tailed it out of crazy Mormon town. However, his quote "The things that drove me crazy growing up was how everyone works at fault-finding with different religions" troubles me. It seems he falls on the liberal hippie-dippy side of Christianity, trying to be modern and accepting of other religions. Yuck. . The only "Christians" that exist in the dope smoke infested hellhole of California are democrats.

Reminder to you leftist "Christians", Jesus is the ONLY way to salvation.
      John 14:6

God commands humanity not to worship false Gods or idols.
      Exodus 20:3

It is futile to be accepting of other religions when it is clearly taught that they are contradictory to God's will, and thus, they will suffer eternal damnation.

What I wonder is that while Paul Walker confessed to being a Christian, why was he on his way to a charity event for the Philippines instead of donating his money for a real cause in desperate need of money like the Landover Baptist Church?
