GOP strategy memo: use these codewords for disciplined messaging

Dear Friends,

Our Church has long prided itself on being an open, straight-talking, honest community that does not resort to the sort of political correctness, code-talk, and beating around the bush common among conservatives. However, while we resist the Kenyan occupation, there is the risk that certain squeamish voters, mostly the young, might be turned off by our honesty.

For that reason, the Republican party has asked that during the Obama administration, we use the standard Republican codewords, as outlined in the recent GOP strategy memo. Here are a few of the most important ones, please memorize and use them in future posts:

What we say now = codeword to replace it with

Women

Rape = philosophically complex issues *, other methods of conception *
Talking about issues important to women and brown people = pandering. *
women and brown people = special interests
Typical female hysteria = overreacting *

Moochers and leeches

Helping the poor = buying votes
social security and medicare = collectivism
Privatize social security and medicare = personalize social security and medicare *
funding schools = generational theft

Race

"Would you let your daughter marry a negro?" = cuckservative *
racist = racially conscious, politically incorrect
Hate crimes against hispanics = supporting voluntary self-deportation
Make more white babies before we're overrun by the brown swarm = pro-life, 5 children, quiverfull
Talking to foreigners = apologizing
White people = Real Americans
the white race = Western Civilization
n!gger-lover = community activist
jews = liberal elites, non-Christians
uppity negro = Arrogant elitist
Mexicans and blacks = credit-unworthy people*
discrimination = freedom of expressive association.
hispanics = illegal aliens, illegals
other brown people = terrorists
blacks = criminals
Typical n!gger behavior = TNB
blacks and wetbacks voting = voter fraud
segregation, slavery, lynching etc. = states rights

Sodomites

homosexuals = perverts, pedophiles
god hates fags = I support family values
Filthy Disease Ridden Queers = FDRQ

Economy

Corporations = People
Bribe, campaign contribution, financial irregularity = free speech
campaign finace reform = anti-freedom of speech
Jew bankers = George Soros
raising the minimum wage = Class Warfare
lobbyist = recognized expert

Government

Civil liberties (other than machine-gun ownership) = helping terrorists
Dictatorial powers (not including machinegun control) = security
Unconstitutional, tyrannical acts we like = leadership *
The constitution, or any interfering with unrestrained police-state power = second-guessing the police *.
The internet as we know it = hard-core pornography, piracy
Secretive Government = privacy rights
deny Constitutional rights (to) = defend democracy (from)
nations with stuff we want = American interests

Military and Security

Arms industry lobbyists = the troops
Military servicemen and police (under Democratic presidencies) = Jack-booted thugs, stormtroopers *

Guns

Gun industry lobbyist = Gun rights advocate
Background checks, smaller magazines, "cooling-off period", other regulatory tweaks = banning guns

General/Other

out-of-the-closet = militant
continue the Bush administration = bipartisanship
extremist = maverick
Bush loyalists = Tea Party
Lies (told by a republican) = Saying what's in your heart *

There are many more, but I don't want to overwhelm everybody.

Here's an example of a translation:

The democratic party, run by community activist Obama and the liberal elite, wants to give freedom to criminals, pedophiles, illegals, and terrorists, by inciting class warfare and opposing states rights. As tea-party mavericks we will stop piracy and hard-core pornography to stop the militant perverts/atheists, and to stop wikileaks from Nixonian invasions of our privacy. The only people who disagree are non-Christians who apologize to terrorists!

Notice how that sounds so much more acceptable to a mushy moderate than the origional sentence:

The democratic party, run by n!gger-lover Obama and the jews, wants to give freedom to blacks, gays, mexicans, and brown people, by raising the minimum wage and opposing segregation. As republican extremists, we will censor the internet to stop the out-of-the-closet gays and out-of-the-closet atheists, and to stop wikileaks from interphereing with our secretive government. The only people who disagree are jews and their useful idiots who talk to foreign brown people!"

(It's important to all be on the same page regarding our codewords. For example, this week I must have heard a dozen people talking about how much they hate Canadians. And some of the comments were very confusing: "We should send all the Canadians back to africa" and "The only reason people like Barak Obama is because he looks so smart compared to other Canadians". Huh? Then I saw this article, and it all made sense.)

UPDATE: Discussion of this list is here.

To be fair, I think there is a valid argument to be made in favour of sending all the actual Canuck Canadians back to Africa as well.

Wouldn't that be cruel towards the native criminals? And it surely would confuse the hell out of the Texans. All IMHO, of course.

Wait, who are "Texans"? Is that what we call redskins now?

Maybe sending the criminals back to africa will help. Remember, they're starving in africa, and most of them are cannibals, so sending them our criminals will help feed them.

Re: GOP strategy memo: proper codewords for the election year

Update: We're doing some research to find out how racially-concious we we can be without appearing "racist".

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0208/8659.html

Quote:

Top Republican strategists are working on plans to protect the GOP from charges of racism or sexism in the general election, as they prepare for a presidential campaign against the first ever African-American or female Democratic nominee.

The Republican National Committee has commissioned polling and focus groups to determine the boundaries of attacking a minority or female candidate, according to people involved. The secretive effort underscores the enormous risk senior GOP operatives see for a party often criticized for its insensitivity to minorities in campaigns dating back to the 1960s.
First of all, liberal-bias alert on the "insensitive" charge. We are EXTREMELY sensitive to how the gang-raping, liquer-store-looting, rap-blasting, KFC-gobbling urban-jungle-dwellers exploit white people by making them feel guilty just because we work for a living. If we were insecetive, we wouldn't pay any attention to them.

Oh, speaking of code-words:

Quote:

GOP operatives have already coined a term for clumsy rhetoric: “undisciplined messaging.” It appears as a bullet point in a Power Point presentation making the rounds among major donors, party leaders and surrogates. The presentation outlines five main strategic attacks against an Obama candidacy, with one of them stating how “undisciplined messaging carries great risk.”
Add that to the list:

Calling a n!gger a n!gger = undiciplined messaging

But, on the other hand:

Quote:

“If we approach this campaign from the standpoint that we need to take political sensitivity training because one candidate is a woman or one candidate is black, I think we are approaching it from the wrong standpoint because that already handcuffs us,” said Republican strategist Tony Fabrizio.
And everybody knows that handcuffs are for darkies, not republicans.

Re: GOP strategy memo: proper codewords for the election year

This is all very confusing. Why can't we just call a spade a spade? Why do we have to refer to Eurotrash as "people from Old Europe" ? Why do we have to call Klingon "genitalically challenged?

We can be pretty sure that Obama will call us "infidels" and "kuffar blankes" right from the get go.

I'm with Fabrizio on this one.

Political correctness = racist.

Re: GOP strategy memo: proper codewords for the election year

Update:

Uppity negro = Arrogant elitist

This one comes from Karl Rove himself: "He's the guy at the country club with the beautiful date, holding a martini and a cigarette that stands against the wall and makes snide comments about everyone." Source (Anyone who spends much time at a country club knows exaclty what Karl's talking about. And as for anyone who hasn't been to a country club, well, who cares about their opinion anyway?)

I don't want to hear any more talk about Obama being "uppity". Call him "arrogant" and/or "elitist". Note the difference between "elite" and "elitist". Jews are "elites", while those who behave as if they are above the station God gave them (for example, blacks who act jewish) are "elitist".

As for blacks who don't act jewish, other acceptable terms are: urban, inner-city, ghetto types, and those people.

...as well as beneficiaries of affirmative action if they're doing well in their lives.

Here are some others, if I may:

deny Constitutional rights (to) = defend democracy (from)
discrimination = freedom of expressive association.

Example: "We need to defend democracy from militant homosexuals, and we also need to ensure that courts will uphold our freedom of expressive association."

Re: GOP strategy memo: proper codewords for the election year

If you've done any listening to conservative talk radio, you'll be framiliar with the term "community activist" to describe Obama. During the convention the term was used repeatedly, including by Vice-President Sarah Palin herself. What does it mean?

It's been hard to expose Obama's blackness. Despite the evidence being right there on his face, covering every inch of his skin, most Americans just don't understand that he's a negro.

Sure, he doesn't talk black, nor has he been caught acting black, and his voting record and political statements may not seem particularily black, but - he was a community activist. IN A BLACK NEIGHBOURHOOD, which, by the way, are filled with BLACK PEOPLE. He's talked to a lot of black people, he's rubbed shoulders with black people, and no doubt he's crawling with black people's germs.

I don't care what color you are - if you associate with black people, you're black. That is why are using the new codeword:

n!gger-lover = community activist

Rep. Lynn Westmoreland of Georgia DIDN'T READ THIS POST! Hey "Lynn" (now THAT'S not a very gay name, is it?:sarcasm:) This post is a sticky for a reason! The reason is you're supposed to read it!

Okay, at least he did use the correct term for a black person who thinks they're as good as a white person ("elitist") but you're meant to REPLACE the word "uppity" - not just suppliment it!

(This idiot should take a lesson from Sarah Palin and just refuse to talk to the press!)

Oh, and speaking of Sarah Palin, I added this new bit:

extremist = maverick

If you're in the presence of non-republicans, don't describe Sarah Palin as a fellow right-winger. Use the term "maverick".

Re: GOP strategy memo: proper codewords for the election year

Mexicans and blacks = credit-unworthy people

From this column:
"With his characteristic openness and at times almost self-defeating honesty, Mr Bush has been the first to acknowledge his mistakes – for example, tardiness over Hurricane Katrina – but there are some he made not because he was a ranting Right-winger, but because he was too keen to win bipartisan support...The credit crunch, brought on by the Democrats in Congress insisting upon home ownership for credit-unworthy people"
Got that? I don't want to hear any more talk about "uppity blacks who think the American dream also applies to them". The term is "credit-unworthy people". Of course, you can also use the shortened version, "unworthy people".

Update:

Jew bankers = George Soros
funding schools =generational theft
continue the Bush administration = bipartisanship

So, instead of saying "the Jew bankers ruined the economy to elect Obama, who prefers funding schools rather than continue the Bush administration", Say "George Soros ruined the economy to elect Obama, who prefers generational theft rather than bipartisanship."

Re: GOP strategy memo: use these codewords for disciplined messag

Republican senator Kim Hendren hasn't been keeping up to date on this thread! Spot his two mistakes:
"At the meeting I was attempting to explain that unlike Sen. Schumer, I believe in traditional values, like we used to see on ‘The Andy Griffith Show.’ I made the mistake of referring to Sen. Schumer as ‘that Jew’ and I should not have put it that way as this took away from what I was trying to say.”
Yes, it's a mistake to call your opponent "that Jew" instead of "That elitist", the proper code-word. A bigger mistake is to apologize!

I think everybody needs to brush up on their rhetoric. Practise saying the following sentence fragments in as many combinations as you can:

Quote:

A public option in health care reform
Curbing CO2 emissions
Gay marriage
Public funding of stem cell research
Immigration reform that doesn’t include mass deportations
Talking with weird countries
Releasing the report/study/memo/photos
Restoring Clinton-era tax rates on multi-millionaires
Enacting tighter regulations in the financial sector
Investigating enhanced interrogation techniques
Closing down offshore tax loopholes
Quote:

Tear at the fabric of
Have a chilling effect on
Ignite a firestorm of woe upon
Erode the foundation of
Wreak incalculable havoc on
Lead us down a dark and dangerous path toward destroying
Lead us down a slippery slope on the way to bankrupting
Plunge a dagger into the very heart of
Unleash destruction on
Tear a giant hole in
Break the back of
Have devastating consequences on
Forever doom

Quote:

Our society
This great nation
Our national security
The family structure
Small businesses
Democracy as we know it
Our children!
Our children's children!
Our children's children's children! (etc.)
The Judeo Christian values on which this country was founded
The Homeland/Fatherland/Motherland
Everything we hold sacred
Our ability to prevent the socialists from taking over
Our vital institutions
Quote:

Just wait---you'll see! And then you'll come crawling back to me!
I weep for my country!
My people don't want to secede from the U.S., but...we may have no choice.
This is the worst thing that's happened in the history of the world!
It's time to start stocking up on food and water. And GUNS!
Example: "Enacting tighter regulations in the financial sector will erode the foundation of the Judeo Christian values on which this country was founded! I weep for my country!"

Re: GOP strategy memo: use these codewords for disciplined messag

UPDATE!

Looks like too many people are figuring out that "state's rights" is a code-word for slavery.

A new twitter from GOP informs us that the new word for "slavery" is "constitution".

http://cloudfront.mediamattersaction...s/rnctweet.jpg

The link leads to bits of audio from a September 6, 2001 radio program called "Slavery and the Constitution" on WBEZ Chicago. On the show, Obama said that the "fundamental flaw" was "Africans at the time were not considered as part of the polity that was of concern to the framers." In addition, the framers did not "see...it as a moral problem involving persons of moral worth." (Click the link to hear for yourself).

Got that? Anti-Slavery means anti-Constitution.

Slavery = Constitution

FDQR stands for Filthy Disease Ridden Queers.

It's used as a tag on the internet's #1 republican forum, FreeRepublic.com. Here's a page full of "Filthy Disease Ridden Queer" articles.

Brother Jeb:

I was very impressed by this Dog Whistle Sympony composed by Zell Miller:

Quote:

Obama, “our globe-trotting president,” Miller said, “needs to stop and take a break and quit gallivanting all around. I think (chief of staff) Rahm Emanuel ought to get some Gorilla Glue and put it in that chair in the Oval Office and say ‘Sit here awhile.’”
That, my friend, is sheer artistry. Oh, if only Carl Orff or Richard Wagner could have written pieces this delightful.....

Wow - there seem to be some new ones I don't know about. The gorilla part is pretty obvious, and gallivanting is what queers do. The thought of putting glue on his gallivanting butt must refer to this new pro-family tactic.

Vladmir Putin is a plagerist! He's also using "urban elitist" as a code-word for Jew!:

Putin has plagerized every bit of our rhetoric, right down to Obama being a security liability because of his international connections!

The article that started it all:
"About one antipatriotic group of theater critics" (what a perfect way to describe urban elitists. They're always either criticising something, or watching "rent" at the theater, or doing both.)
"unbridled, evil-minded cosmopolitans...with no roots and no conscience… Grown on rotten yeast of [boutique] cosmopolitanism, decadence....
My favorite is the bit about "rotten yeast". Smell a feminist and you'll understand exactly what Putin's talking about!

Strangely...Dispite all the galaxies I've visited...I still don't understand quite what you mean.

Though if feminists smell anything like fresh-baked bread, they must be AWESOME.
