The greatest threats we face to our Christian perfection.

Jesus Christ uttered these words in His Famous Sermon on the Mount. As God is perfection, so we must be.

Quote:

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48
Satan has been tempting mankind, since our omnipotent God left a tree of knowledge of good and evil in the middle of a garden and granted Satan access to it and Adam and Eve. Prior to Satan telling them they would not die that day if they ate it, humanity had no knowledge of good and evil. (Gen 3:1-5)

When our omniscient God came back to find that they knew they were naked and that they had eaten the fruit, that is when sin came into the world. But it is through Jesus Christ that we are made righteous. (Romans 5:19)

But how do we keep ourselves free from Satan's temptations to our holiness? I believe, brothers and sisters, that we must name and know our true enemy. It is only that way we can be vigilant against it.

1. Science

http://s3.amazonaws.com/rapgenius/Mad_scientist.gif

A few years ago, scientists believed leeches cured diseases. They thought the universe had no beginning. They thought a man lived in the moon. They thought the sun revolved around the earth and all sorts of other crazy notions we now know to be untrue. They all serve to lead us astray from Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 2:16

2.Ethics

https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/40...0/571/btt9.jpg

By ethics, I mean the philosophical study of moral relativism. Questioning black and white morals laid down in the Bible and even questioning how those morals are applied through Biblical Law throughout the Word through the lens of 21st century morality, is not to be done by the untrained. What we should be teaching instead is how to compartmentalize and disassociate certain more questionable content throughout the Testaments. Though, this can lead to one of my pet peeves...

3. Context and Historical arguments

http://www.picturehistory.com/images...prod_40226.jpg
I see so many cherry picking Christians doing this these days. They make well meaning (though ultimately leading to hell) statements like, "Jesus was only speaking to His disciples. Paul only meant that for the audience he was writing to. That only applies to the Old Testament priesthood. That rule was only for the Jews."

This chips away at important issues that are still relevant today. Do most so called churches care that 42% of so called Christians are divorced? No, they don't. Do they care if the Old Testament Laws are still carried out and followed? No, they don't.

And this is the source of it. When half of the fake Baptist ministers in this country are divorced from their wives and shacking up with their boyfriends, you can come back here and tell me I was right.

This leads me to the next thing we must watch out for.

4. Tolerance of Sin and false religions

http://www.educationnews.org/wp-cont...oTolerance.jpg

The secular communist Satanist media asks us to swallow a lot as far as toleration for divorce, homosexuality, fornication, single mothers, violent video games, Dungeons and Dragons, popular music and so many other things.

The Bible tells us to live away from the sinners and not be of this world.

John 15:18-21; Romans 12:2; 1 Corinthians 5:11; 1 Corinthians 10:20; 2 Corinthians 6:14-17; Ephesians 5:11; 2 Thessalonians 3:6; 1 John 2:15 1 John 3:13; 2 John 1:9-11; James 4:4

That is what it is going to take for us to live away from sinners. Get rid of your cable TV, only come to this site on the internet and move to a True Christian™ community where you can be held accountable for your sins.

5. Belief that God's grace is a license to abrogate God's laws.

Also known as Antinomianism is the heretical belief that Jesus came to do away with the Old Testament law. The false Christians skip right over Romans 6 and come to the conclusion that Paul told them they no longer have to do anything to get to heaven. And this is the surest path to hell.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8

If you hear anyone calling himself a Christian discussing or making any of these arguments, tell your Pastor if he is a real Christian, tell a parent, tell a Freehold policeman.

If you are skilled at apologetics, confront them with their lies.

2 Tim 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

Oh, Brother Levi, you are such a perfect specimen of manhood. So dominant.
And, of course, so correct in every way. Surely our Lord speaks through you in this day when men fear to walk in the way the Lord has commanded. Surely also He will use your words to bring the lukewarm into His radiant heat, which is no doubt more BTU's than we can imagine. GLORY!

Scientists just can't make up their mind on what "truth" they claim is the basis for life and the universe. This is because there is only one truth and that is in The Holy Bible. Maybe if they read it, they would finally understand that God's Word is the only science that truly exists.

Yes, we are all quite proud of our Brother Levi . His teaching and exposition of our Lord's Word spears the hearts of the wicked, drawing them to higher heights and deeper depths in the love of God.

Glory!

Great list. But I would have made homo marriage number two, right after science. Just look at how many wholesome, Christian marriages the homos and the Jew judges who have enabled them have destroyed! Our whole civilization is unravelling because of these perverts.

Spoken with the unction of the Holy Spirit, Dear, Handsome Brother WWJDnow!

I hope that you and I can meet when I travel to the upper east side in search of an appropriate location for my pie shop. I'll be staying in a boutique hotel in midtown. How nice it would be to have a man along to explain things that, as a woman, I may not comprehend!

Consider it, won't you
Meekly,

A timely sermon Pastor. Why, I just found out today that God-haters are in equal number to those who know and love God, and read His Holy Word regularly. This is a tragedy of epic proportions because, as you say, so many false Christians are spreading false messages of false hope. People are doomed if they water down the Word of God and pretend the parts that make them feel as warm and happy as watching a Hallmark Movie of the Week are what God wants for them. People are being lied to by their own churches, churches who have no idea what they're doing. And look at the result - people are leaving the Body of Christ.

I don't understand that there are still Atheists left after Levi Jones' great article. What is wrong with those people? Why don't they want a perfect life? Why do they prefer burning in Hell over being with Jesus?

Dear Brother in Christ,

This is indeed the most inexplicable question in our times. I contemplated over this but the answer was, of course, in plain sight:

2 Kings 17:14 Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in the LORD their God.

This means that the scientists, homers, university theologians, false Christians and their lieberal supporters do not let themselves hear the Word as they have allocated so much of their personal prestige, career and self-esteem to lies. Thus, their transition into True Christian™ believers is a hard one. And as the days of reckoning draw near, time is unfortunately running out for them. I think we must persist and explain even when it seems useless.Someone, somewhere is surely going to hear us and, behold, SALVATION is open for that person in Christ!

Yours in Christ,

Elmer:bye:

My papist, I 'm afraid that this is one of those issues that your papist seminary leaders in their cultist ceremonies have deliberately imprinted on your then more innocent mind. While we certainly can and must counteract secular godless science with all our might, it is not of benefit to accuse them without a solid base.

Here we lack any grouds that would be based on either source criticism or SCRIPTURE.

Source criticism: this one is simple enough that we can trust even wikipedia with adequate reliability. "There was never an actual historical popular belief that the Moon is made of green cheese". Scientists are misled by Satan, not necessarily intellectually challenged.

Scripture. I suppose they made you somewhat familiar also with the Bible (although not the KJV) and not only apocrypha. Genesis 1:16 tells us the the Moon is light in the sky.

Your road as a papist to God is not impossible although it is going to be a tough one. Perhaps you should try to avoid cool but tired jokes and concentrate on the state of your soul and the corrupt nature of your cat lick past. Especially, take up scripture and study it.

:kjv1611::poster_hearye:

Then we'll discuss. You are losing precious time with sarcasm. Matthew 25:31. You should be familiar with it. It might be today, stop being cheesy before your sarcasm vaporizes in the humes of :hell-2:

Yours,

Elmer:bye:

While I enjoyed reading your great words of wisdom, I disagree. Jews own Wiki, a source you quoted. Jews murdered Christ and therefore, can never be trusted.

Jooish craving for prestige and wealth makes them highly skilled in banking, law and godless secular medicine. My mother only trusts her jooish doctor (my mother is unfortunately also a sinner but that is another and a very sad story).

When there's a potential of profit in case things are done right, joos will of course choose the path of best available information. Wikipedia gains prestige by being fairly reliable. Prestige and respect is to joos what bright shining objects are to magpies and fair, smooth, unblemished catamite skin to cat licks. Thus, in THIS PARTICULAR CASE, i.e. wiki, it is of jooish interest to convey actual information.

I do not think you are a totally lost case, my sad cat lick sinner. I still wish you refrained from making hasty comments NOT BASED ON SCRIPTURE.

:kjv1611-read:

Matthew 5:18 is especially important to your lot.

I'm afraid I won't be allocating more time at the moment to entertaining you unless you show signs of repentance by starting to study the Bible. I think it might be more effective to say some prayers on the behalf of your not-perhaps-yet-totally-corrupted soul.

Yours in Christ,

Elmer:(

I will pray your mom will stop seeing her Jewish doctor. God and prayer are the only medicine you need.

No wonder catlicks are on a highway to Hell :pope::hell-2:
Even their "priests" don't understand anything.

READ BIBLE! Try it - first time in your life, i suppose.
It is all said there. Proverbs 4:20-22

Read - Learn.
