One Soul Saved Is Worth More than Billions Suffering on Earth: John 12:25!

John 12:25
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Suffering. Billions are desperate, ravished by war, abused by Catholic "priests", starving, ridden by well-deserved diseases and punished by retardation for the sins of previous generations (Exodus 20:5). Billions more will eventually be tormented by Jesus during the Tribulations (Matthew 24:21) before His Second Coming (Revelation 22:20). Many unbelievers fail to understand why all this suffering is insignificant when compared to the Magnificent Love and Rewards that Jesus will give us True Christians™ in Heaven.

However, by applying some basic skills of calculus to this question, an answer emerges that proves for everybody how intricate and beautiful God's Master Plan is in its simplicity.

Let us make some educated assumptions:
  • There are 7.4 billion (7,400,000,000) people on Earth.
  • There are (let us be generous) 40,000 True Christians ready for Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:17)
  • During the Tribulations (Revelation 6:1 - Revelation 11:19) direct deaths by Jesus's Troops will encompass one third (about 2.5 billion) of mankind and collateral damage from famine, disease, wars, poisoned waters etc. probably 4 billion.
  • After the tribulation and the millennium approximately 100,000 Faithful will join us.
  • Conclusions: 140,000 will go to Heaven, 7,399,860,000 into Hell.
  • (Heaven = Eternal Joy, Hell = Eternal Torture.)
The 140,000 obtained by the methods of Creation Science is staggeringly close to the Biblical value of 144,000 (Revelation 7:4), so we'll use the 144,000 value later.

This seems bad. Now it is time to do some calculations.

The hell-bound majority on Earth will live on average 71.4 years. This means 71.4 * 7,399,860,000 years of mindless, excruciating suffering on Earth = 528,350,004,000 years that have to be compensated by Christ to gain a net profit in happiness.

Is this possible?

1 John 5:11
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

John 10:28
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Titus 1:2
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

:praise:

Yes, it is possible. It is possible because eternity > a few hundred billion years! Even if only a single person was Saved into Life Eternal, after a mere 528 billion years all the suffering on Earth would have been compensated and absorbed by the Everlasting Happiness. After that, until eternity, the famines and the cruelty and cowardliness would mean nothing. And if we take into account the fact that there are approximately 144,000 saved ones, we can do some division and see that the compensation actually takes place sooner, after only 3,669,097 years.

The problem of torture and pain on Earth during the mundane life will thus be solved. However, the atheists are a cunning lot and will next refer to Hell, Eternal Excruciating Pain, Desperation and Punishment! Why would Jesus do that? Would this not make void the calculations of compensated suffering in heaven?

Matthew 25:46
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Now, even atheists know that evil deeds need to be punished. This is the rule of Jesus (Hebrews 10:29). In addition, the punishment must be correlated to the crime. In this case, the crime is SIN. Let us see, what would be the fitting punishment for a sinner? First, we must ask how many sins the sinner committed on Earth?

Psalms 53:1
(To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalm of David.) The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

They do only evil things. All the moments of their life are spent committing sin. What are the sins they commit?

James 2:10
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

They have committed every imaginable sin and also every sin that can be imagined by Jesus and God and as Jesus and God are infinite, there are infinite possibilities to sin for every sinner.

Psalms 147:5
Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

This is also clearly stated in the Bible:

Job 22:5
Is not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities infinite?

Conclusion: Only Infinite Punishment is fitting for every sinner. While the Love of God absorbs the agonies of flesh on Earth easily within a couple of million years in Heaven, the sinner with infinite guilt and sinning will have to be punished forever to pay for his crimes against Jesus. These are simple rules, yet so elegant, so they must be intelligently designed!

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Jesus experiences time in a different way from us. Those 528,350,004,000 man-years become 192,975,717,830,968,800 years in Christ. That's what He felt coursing through His being as He groaned there on the Cross, blood dribbling out, mocked for me. Each day of each one of those dreadful years was dilated into 365,242⅕ terrible days. Terribler and dreadfuller than I can imagine as He looked at the sins of the world including sins of those not yet born all the way back to Eve, the very first sinner, flooding over Him like a tidal wave of molten lava and flying scorpions. Flying straight at Him backwards, stings poking out, all dripping with venom. Each sin individually presented in all its horror and horror of all the vast majority of those sins spat out over His lovely face because they're the sins of creatures who reject His offer of Salvation.

I will not calculate the cycle of sinful actions, some will be rapid, some slower, some sins repeat on a daily basis I suppose for heathens. Some are new every morning. Some will last all night. But whatever the frequency, whatever the depth of commitment to sinning, each will be magnified a thousand-fold and that is what Jesus will appreciate particularly as He inhales the smoke of perpetual torment referred to in Revelation:
Revelation 14 . KJV . look up
11
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
The Bible explains that Jesus will not remember those sins but that does not mean that He'll be standing there watching the torture, like just watching but not knowing why they're being tortured. Over and over and over again. Jesus will not remember the sins but will He remember the enhanced suffering He was made to endure at Calvary?
Hebrews 10 . KJV . look up
17
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Your advice will be appreciated on this point as it will be difficult for me to sleep thinking about how much I love Jesus in the light of what you've presented.

In your learning of the American language, have you come across the word "irony" yet?

This forum's purpose is to worship GOD in spirit and in truth (John 4:24) and away from the World which has so relentlessly persecuted Christians. Missions to convert heathen are carried out elsewhere. Besides, the World has so corrupted them that I fear they are wholly unreceptive to GOD's Word™ (Matthew 10:14). I think you should also read Pastor Ezekiel's post: http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=23760
