Anti-slavery propaganda wins the Oscar

The Academy Awards, this year hosted by Godmocking dyke Ellen DeGenerate, has proven once again that they are nothing but a bunch of politically biased liberals. A new movie persecuting God-fearing southern slave owners just won the prize for the best picture of the year, and the director is not even American

Oscars: 12 Years A Slave Wins Best Picture

Steve McQueen's film walks away with the biggest award of the night but space adventure Gravity takes home seven trophies.

British director Steve McQueen's film 12 Years A Slave has won the best picture award at this year's Oscars.

In one of the most hotly contested competitions of recent years, the film beat eight fellow nominees - American Hustle, Captain Phillips, Dallas Buyers Club, Gravity, Her, Nebraska, Philomena and The Wolf Of Wall Street.

McQueen jumped for joy at the win and thanked his wife, who first showed him a copy of the original book, for "unearthing this treasure" and his parents before dedicating the win to "everyone who has endured slavery and 21 million who still do today".

Lupita Nyong'o won the best supporting actress prize for her role as Patsey in the 19th century drama.

The Mexican-born star, who is of Kenyan descent, paid tribute to McQueen, who she said charged "everything with the breath of your own spirit".

She thanked her co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Michael Fassbender and said: "I'm a little dazed. I can't believe this is in my hands. I can't believe this is real life."

Ejiofor lost out in the lead actor category to Matthew McConaughey who won for his portrayal of an Aids activist in Dallas Buyers Club.

We watched this movie during our last Gentlemen Against Pornographic Exhibition meeting and it's not as bad as it looks. What the movie shows is how an uppity annoying negro gets tamed into a decent hard working cotton plucker who actually contributes to society instead of stealing welfare. It also shows that violence is the best way to make a negro useful. It's best to skip the last 15 minutes of the movie though, there it goes all wrong.

It's just another example of anti-Christian persecution! My sincerely held religious beliefs tell me that owning a slave is a good and godly thing to do, but the LIEberals in Hellyweird go and make a movie that demonizes God-fearin' folk like us, then they reward it?!?! Have they not heard about the Constitution of the United States where the FIRST AMENDMENT gives us RELIGIOUS LIBERTY?!?! We need Congress to shut these propaganda mills down once and for all! :furious:

Well, that is something we can be happy for. They are just showing us the reality and promote anti-slavery. It's part of the human rights.

Which DO NOT appear in the Bible.

Anyways, who are you? Why haven't you made an intro post here? Please follow the instructions that the moderators have cleverly hidden on every page of that forum (at the top).

I know a few White people that feel like the slave movies that were made in hollywood, portrayed the Whites as evil; violent, and sexually out of control.

I personally loved watching slave movies, because it showed me where I came from and what my purpose is in life. Versus watching some fake TV show about how much negros contributed to society (when they actually didn't) making me act jealous and envious over White Men for "holding me down."

But it is very interesting to read and hear about how slavery wasn't all about hangings and beatings. But in fact that the relationship between the salve and Master, was very good which is way there wasn't a lot of slaves that ran away.

Are both schools of thought OK to have in this case, because I don't know which one is right or wrong, so any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

If it disagrees with The Bible, it's wrong.
