Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion

I haven't seen the study, I've just seen a bunch of numbers posted in this thread. For all we know, 1 person from each religion could have done the IQ test and these are the results.
I simply wish to see the study before I make up my mind, i'm not the type to take something as true just because someone, somewhere said it but i guess you are all much more accustomed to doing that.

And if you do believe the study it says that i have an IQ of 119 where you have a below-average 98 (yes the average IQ score is 100, look it up) which means i'm smarter then you so you better listen to me

Which, logically, means that you aren't qualified to comment on it :hmmm:

Looks like you have some bias here, friend.

No, the study did not detail on individuals, but groups as a whole. All we did was contest the extent of the group "Christians" since it also includes child molesters and criminals.

Let's see...
  1. You comment on a study that you admit you haven't bothered to read.
  2. You come in with obviously unwarranted preconceived ideas.
  3. You have a patronizing and arrogant tone -- obviously unwarranted.
  4. You have limited grasp of the American language.
  5. You believe that if the average IQ of a group is X, then every individual member of that group has IQ X.
How about... we don't listen to you? Well, we'll listen to you of course, but only because retards amuse us.

Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion

Good point God=life, but I'm almost certain that you would have only read the same information as me so you would be in the same, unqualified to comment position as me.
Your fellow christians have demonstrated a fair bit of bias as well so i am not alone in this

And i apologize for my gramatical errors and my patronizing and arrogant tone, i'm a godless heathen and don't have his divine will guiding my every move.

Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion

Obviously this heathen has to take the side of all the atheist scum. As for us being biased? how are we biased when we have the bible on our side? harvard needs to recheck its results, must have been a jew checking the results. You are a godless heathen and you must see the light.

Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion

Typically response sinnersaved, you christians need to drop this grudge you have against the jewish people. Try suggesting some arguments that dont simple rely upon the bible as the justification.

sinnersaved 04-14-2010 12:26 PM

Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion

So you love the jewish people then? the jews killed jesus christ, or had you forgotten about that? thats not a grudge, its a fact that all you jews and those who love them are going to burn in hellfire. your arrogance makes you believe you're smarter than us, but your jew arrogance hasnt shown us any evidence to support your arguments.

I do believe this thread was about a ridiculous Harvard study, not your anti-semitic ranting.
stay on topic please.

Well, the thing is: we are pretty picky about the label "Christian". Most people who call themselves Christian haven't even bothered to read the Bible.

That's one of the recurring themes on this forum and that's why you see the term "True Christian™" -- for example, we don't consider catholics to be Christians. They worship the pope and idols first, Jesus Christ and God second.

If you read the KJV 1611 Bible, your grammar will improve remarkably.

You should only take care to replace "thee" and "thou" with contemporary vernacular

P.S. Feel free to ignore "sinnersaved" -- he only has 2 posts on this forum and is by no means a True Christian™. It's just some kid who thinks it's cool to preach hate.

sinnersaved 04-14-2010 12:36 PM

Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion

great points GOD=LIFE. only if ringworm reads the KJV 1611 Bible will he find true salvation and realise that the only reasons that True Christians scored lower in the harvard study was because they were lumped in with Catholics.

ringworm 04-14-2010 12:44 PM

Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion

Sinnersaved: atleast you are back on topic.... sort of..... moved from jew bashing to catholic bashing...
Doesn't really further the argument though, just comes back to you being right because the bible says so. Obviously ignored my previous post...

God=life: I was talking about all the other people who have posted in this thread, they would be True Christians as well wouldn't they?

GOD=life 04-14-2010 12:47 PM

Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion

A more accurate study would have taken into account the following:
  1. The denomination of the Christian
  2. The level of commitment by the Christian
  3. The chosen Bible (KJV 1611 or a corrupted version)
  4. Whether or not the entire KJV 1611 Bible was read
  5. Whether or not the entire KJV 1611 Bible is followed
This would give us a much better picture than "does person X see himself as a Christian?"

Yes, IF their forum title says True Christian™. Additionally, you will see lots of green blocks under their post count.

Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion

Well the fact that all these studies keep saying that Christians have lower IQs than atheists just goes to prove that scientists are biased.

ringworm 04-15-2010 02:21 PM

Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion

Even if the study was done perfectly and was in no way biased, it would show that all religious groups have an average IQ of 100.
And secondly, does anyone really care about which religion has a higher IQ? Surely we could spend our time doing more productive things....

Only if you account for all minor religions and you take into account that all religions have different representations.

They will see in hell their foolish decision :lex_12:

INtellegence has nthign to do with religion. Just people with a higher IQ can see (supposedly) more logically. May I ask what your IQs are?
