Who / What is Miku

Hatsune Miku (Japanese: 初音ミク), sometimes referred to as Miku for short, is the name of a computer Artificial Intelligence program from NASA. This refers to a 16-year-old cyber "girl" with long, turquoise twintails.


Miku takes the position of leader of all Virtual Idols that are programmed to eventually kill all humans. Don't believe me? Ask your child, niece or nephew, or neighbor boy. No doubt they watch Japanese cartoons (called "anime") and will know this theme.


How NASA is involved

NASA is in charge of the computerization of American youth and Miku is marketed as a vocaloid singer, encouraging young people to upload its songs and try writing their own vocaloid music. Vocaloid simply means a computer does all the singing and there is no human component at all. This gets the impressionable younger accustomed to serving their Virtual J-pop Overlord.

Furthermore, Miku has a boy counterpart, Mikuo. Mikuo is, like most Japanese men, as effeminate as a man can get, thus making it "cool" for American boys to grow up to want to be girls.

What does Soy have to do with this

Soy is a food product manufactured by NASA to increase the estrogen content of a person in order to create a generation of effeminate boys unwilling and unable to defend America from threats foreign and domestic. We're literally losing an entire generation to soy. We're seeing breast growth ("man boobs") and reduced male fertility ("asexual" fad). In short, we know red meat is manlier than tofurkey, and there's no need to plan for American genocide when soy lattes will do the trick for our enemies.

Recently I was called into the high school principal's office. Assuming that my son, George Bush Lukes, had done something wrong, I brought along an extra belt. Absolutely disgusting! These boys need to read Deuteronomy 22:5 and Zephaniah 1:8 until they realize that what they're doing is sinful and worthy of punishment. While we're at it, that outfit isn't even appropriate for girls! There's nothing respectable about it (1 Timothy 2:9)!

First thing's first, Miku was not created by NASA. She was created my a music company known as Crypton. Crypton is basically the Japanese equivalent of Yamaha. I trust you know who Yamaha is. NASA has nothing to do with Miku, or any vocaloids, what-so-ever.

Secondly, why would you choose that image? Miku is nothing like that. That was probably drawn by some teenage emo weirdo. Judging by the art quality itself, it clearly was not made by a professional. Miku has blue eyes not creepy red ones and she doesn't have a knife, so yeah just some edgy kid thinking that making disturbing art is "cool" . Also, Miku wouldn't ever dress like that. She doesn't have large breasts like that and she never unzips her top like that. Her skirt may be short (like any female popstar) but it isn't that short! Honestly this drawing makes me incredibly disappointed in the artist who created it.

(This has nothing to do with the point I'm trying to make, but who taught this person to draw? Those anatomy proportions are really inaccurate. Not to mention the lighting and coloring! They must be young)

Thirdly, yes, her name translates to "First sound from the future." However this was not alluding to computers over-throwing humans, it was talking about how she is a new step in the technology/science world. That we as humans are becoming smarter and learning to create new things. Those holograms that we saw in Startrek forever ago that seemed so much like a fantasy, we are so close to being able to create those in real life! It's incredible if you just think about it.
Next of all, Miku is not a robot. She is nothing more than a computer program. She can't do anything on her own free will. She has no free will. All she can do is what a person tells her to do. Furthermore, she can't really do anything. She can only sing. She is not an artificial intelligence program like you may think. Miku cannot think or process what thing mean. Vocaloid programs simply imitate the human voice for musical or speech purposes much like Text-to-Speech on our computers and phones.
Something else that bothered me about this post is that you have a problem with her voice being computerized. Now yes, even I can agree it's kinda strange however its not as bad as you may think. Let me explain why. Her music is 100% composed by real humans. As far as I know, computers aren't that smart. Her art, human made. Her animation for her "live shows" and music videos, human made. Even the original vocal samples for her voice had to come from a human. Think of all the job opportunities this provides for normal people! All those amazingly genius music writers who cant sing and don't want to worry about trusting a human singer who may try to take credit for their music. All those artists and animators who we may have never had enough jobs for without Miku. Even all the instrument players who don't have their own band but perform the music at her "live shows." These are normal everyday people who are passionate about the music and art industry but are too scared to put themselves out there; Miku and other vocaloids act as a gateway into real world careers for these people! So what if it's sung by a computer? Everything else about it is a huge mass of human effort, more so than a normal band or popstar. If you just think about it, It really is a beautiful thing.
Also that genderbent version of her (who I, much like you, dont think highly of at all) is not a real vocaloid. He was some fan made thing. Every character from every show, cartoon, video game, book, etc has one. It's weird, I agree.

The last thing I would like to debate is that Miku and vocaloids aren't the ones making your kids gay, asexual, or trans. The vocaloids have no role in that. Just because a queer has an interest in Hatsune Genderbent-whats-his-face doesn't mean it was him that made him a queer. I know you guys probably understand that and arn't ignorant enough to think that but I just couldn't understand why you said that it was the Vocaloids doing that. Same with the soy. Isn't it just a food? Please, if you care to explain, I would love to try and understand your viewpoint on that.

I would like to state my overall opinion on Hatsune Miku. She is an unliving thing that the public has brought to life. I think that's kinda cool...you know...that we as humans had the creativity to do that. I also think it's nice to see that we can have a celebrity much like or normal human one without ruining the life of a living, breathing human. Think of all the human celebrities who ruined their life because their fame went to their head. That wont happen to Miku. She has given so many jobs to people. Fans get to participate in her "life." She's pretty cute and "her" music is catchy and has such a huge variety (being written by hundreds if people and all that) I think Miku really is a neat thing. I understand that changing technology can be freaky, but we are living in that age now...we need to learn that and have an open mind. I don't expect Miku to replace human celebrities, nor do I want her to. However I do love and appreciate what she stands for, creative freedom.
