Hey
Let me start by saying, there's one reason I joined. And that reason is to prove a point.
Hello everyone, I'm Arkin. That is not my real name, but you will call me by it. I've noticed several things on here that rather irritate me. Your way of punishing kids is sad and cruel. If that isn't a joke, I cannot believe you people. Leaving them in the cold? Sick and horrible. I also noticed this topic http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=78484 Let me make this clear... God hates NO ONE. You people try to say how almost everything is evil, when that isn't true. Let me give a small quote, "We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are." God hates no one and if you truly believe the things you do, I feel sorry for you. God bless everyone. -Arkin Laufeyson |
Re: Hey
Hello and Welcome Laufeyson,
Where do you go to church? What is your favorite KJV verse? God bless. |
Re: Hey
I go to Bethany Wesleyan Church.
"And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight." |
Re: Hey
Yowza, I know that church. Is that the one outside of Allentown?

Regarding hate: Leviticus 20:23 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them. Leviticus 26:30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. Deuteronomy 32:19 And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Psalm 5:6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. Psalm 10:3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth. Psalm 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Psalm 53:5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them. Psalm 73:20 As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image. Psalm 78:59 When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel: Psalm 106:40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance. Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Proverbs 22:14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein. Lamentations 2:6 And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest. Hosea 9:15 All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters. Amos 5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. Zechariah 11:8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me. Malachi 1:3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. Revelation 2:6; 15 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. We are not mamby-pamby fluffy-bunny Christians here. Our GOD is powerful and can smite His enemies with a wink of His eyelashes (and Jesus has LOVELY lashes - I must ask Him about what he uses). But I digress. If His Word tells us something, we must believe it. As I always say, God said it, I believe it, and that settles it! He is so good, all the time. NRL |

Re: Hey
Welcome Ari.
Sorry, you are wrong. Sucks, doesn't it? Isaiah 29:14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. John 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded John 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. John 12:39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. 1st Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1st Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1st Corinthians 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 1st Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 1st Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 1st Corinthians 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 1st Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 1st Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 1st Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 1st Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1st Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 1st Corinthians 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 1st Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. 1st Corinthians 3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. Jude 1:17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; Jude 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. Jude 1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. |

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Romans 5:8 But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. There's way more than that too. |

If'n you still think that God loves everybody then you are not really a Christian sonny boy. By the way! The way discipline our children aint cruel. We are simply following God's word, and beating the devil out of our children. Proverbs 23:14 "Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell." I reckon you want us to let our children go to hell?! |

Our's is an angry God, Alan, stern and unyielding; cruel and yet just. His hatreds are many and include all who pass unsaved.
You are not saved, that is clear. Accept Jesus or suffer eternal damnation. I will pray for you, but I'm afraid it is really all up to you. I hope you don't have to go to Hell. God Bless and welcome to our friendly forum! |

K, well I'm bored and you people are ignorant and I have to wait super long to quote each of you. Can I have my account deleted? This place is lame.

So, what is the motivation for tormenting those people forever then? By the way, he is not that sad about watching heathens being tormented. Psalm 59:8 But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision. |

And no, your account will not be deleted. You have the attention span of a small child. "I'm bored" "This place is lame". You want your God in a little box that you can understand in 5 minutes. God doesn't work that way. |
