I hate the word asexual. I hate that the “a” can be easily swallowed and the “sexual” is so prominent. Asexuality is the only orientation without a widely known alternative word, and I think it’s ironic and cruel that when asexuals come out to people, we’re the only ones who have no choice but to use a word containing “sex” even though we’re the only ones who don’t care about having any. It’s also unfair that we have to use a word that describes only one aspect of our relationships, the one aspect we don’t care about. It doesn’t say anything about the relationships we do have and want. It confuses people, makes them try to diagnose our “problems,” makes them feel like they have the right to know about our masturbation habits. I can’t wait until asexuality is more widely understood and “ace” catches on, because that’s something I can actually feel good about saying. Besides, what have we done to you, if Im condemned to hell, I save a piffleing seat for you.

For someone who professes to be an asexual, who is bickering about people forcing you to use a word with ¨sex¨ in it, your multiple use of the letter x in your user name is quite funny. I quoted a part of your message, the one part you can and should elaborate on when you make your own, personal introduction thread in the Introduction Forum. Indeed, a useful notion, Sister in Christ! The question of asexual reproduction has been neglected. To begin with, we know that it is vile and repulsive, as heterosexual intrauterine incubation is the Biblical Method of Choice:

By dismissing this the asexuals oppose Jesus Christ in this most pivotal of issues when it comes to female salvation (1 Timothy 2:15) - childbearing! You are supposed to bear and carry that child to term in an intrauterine manner. What DO the asexualists do, then?

I would really appreciate if you refrained from using such coarse language on a Forum frequented by fragile women and unsaved children. I do know that you unsaved scum do engage in fornication for its pleasurable physiological aspects and try to find expressions of organismic release everywhere! That was not Jesus' Intention (Genesis 1:28), and I can assure you that during the time I was fulfilling my duty by performing conjugal relations, I was soon able to go through with that procedure by totally decoupling the release of semen from any pleasure. I cannot remember any occasion when I would have had any organisms, as you call them! Having sex doesn't make us stop being asexual. We're still not sexually attracted to anyone, which is the definition of asexuality.

Jesus doesn't care what about attractions, either to people or chores. Consider the following parable Jesus tells. I've changed the tone and occupation so it's easy for enough for even you to understand (Matthew 21:28-32)

Alright, I've been reading through a lot of the comments here and I felt like I had to present my opinion as well since I am asexual.

First of all, I find it very sad how a lot of people are treated here.
I don't think it's fair that people get attacked for who they are.

I am asexual. What does that mean?
Asexuality means that a person doesn't feel sexually attracted to anyone.
It does not mean that these people want the human race to die out or anything like that.
For example: An asexual person wouldn't check out strangers and maybe think: "Yeah, I'd have sex with that person."
They don't feel anything like that.
This may be hard to believe for some people, but imagine it like this:
Think of a person, any person, that you do NOT feel sexually attracted to. Now just imagine feeling the same way about everyone on the planet. That is what asexuality is.

BUT! Every asexual is different. For example: Some asexual people may still choose to have sex, because they do want to have their own family. Some asexual people may even have sex because they like it. Yes it is possible to like sex but not feel sexually attracted to the person.

And then there are people like me. I personally am not planning on ever having sex for multiple reasons.
I feel very uncomfortable even talking about it and the idea just doesn't make me feel comfortable.
Also, I've been asked out by multiple guys already, but I never knew at first if they really liked me for who I was or if they just wanted to have sex with me. Every single guy that has asked me out before (about 8 guys) told me they found me very attractive. But as soon as I told them that I am asexual, they would loose interest in me. To me, that proves that they only wanted to have sex with me.
And if you are wondering, yes I am a virgin and I am planning on dying a virgin as well.
If I ever get married (And I'm not sure if I will) I want to be married to someone who loves me for who I am and who I love for who they are. Someone who can live and love without sex. And yes, if I ever get married it will be a sexless marriage. So if I ever want to raise children, I would adopt.

I know I am only 16 but judging by everyone else in my age I know, I don't think that it's a "normal" way to feel about sex at this age.

A lot of my friends find it hard to believe that I am asexual, but this is who I am. And I don't want people to hate on others just because of their sexuality.

I don't care what anyone here might think of me now. And I don't care if I go to heaven or hell because I don't believe in God, heaven or hell.
And even if I would, I've done a lot of good things in my life already, believe me. Would I really be punished for just not being sexually attracted to anyone?


On a final note I would also like to point out how sick and nasty a lot of people come across here. To be completely honest, I've met a lot of people that behave the exact same way. I've also met people who don't believe in God and/or even "praise Satan".
And you know what? All those non-religious people are a lot nicer than almost every single person here.

I respect your believes. I really really do. But you should also respect mine. Every person is who they are. And it is no ones job to tell anyone who they can and can't marry.
If you believe that people who are asexual will go to hell then that's fine. But them "going to hell" doesn't affect you or your life in any way, so please just let them be.

Every single person is born the way they are and everyone needs to learn to accept that. What will happen to them is not your problem.
